The first wrestling video game I played was WWF WrestleMania 2000 for N64. It was around Christmas time and I was five years old. At that time it was the greatest wrestling game ever to me. I spent hours playing that game!

For me... the first was Pro Wrestling on the NES. Extremely generic but very fun for its time. Star Man was too cool.

My first WWE game... WWF Super WrestleMania

WWF Attitude for the PS1. Still own that one actually, super fun at the time, but Smackdown 1 and 2 killed it. The CAW mode is on par with the ones nowadays though, no lie.

AH WAIT! I had WCW Nitro on the PS1 before I had Attitude, so that'd be the first. I don't remember much about it though.

heh I feel much better that we have another NES player. At least Pro Wrestling had more options... and each guy had at least one "special" move. But they all had funny names. I mean The Amazon... he wasn't even human. Why doesn't WWE use these guys?

The WWF arcade game, don't remember the name. Played it at the local bowling alley in the 80's. It had Hogan, Warrior, Bossman, DiBiase and a few others. I always used Bossman because he had some weird special ability, but I don't remember much else about it. The first console game I owned was WWF Rage in the Cage for Sega CD.

Edit: Nevermind scratch that, I just remembered I had a WWF game on NES in the 80's, might have even played it before the arcade game. I believe it was WWF Super Wrestlemania. I remember it having Hogan, but not much else. But I rarely played it because I found it boring.

Edit Edit: WWF Wrestlemania Challenge for NES. Had to dig it up.

I'm pretty sure the first one(s) I played were the WWF/WWE SmackDown ones on PS1 and PS2 in the early 00's. I had a lot of fun on them. So much you could do and they never got boring when you played with friends.

Pro Wrestling, NES. I will be Fighter Hayabusa and I will kick you in the back of the head 50 times. Best game.

One of the arcade games that used to come to the fair.

Other than that I think it was WWF Warzone, how could you not love these videos

Super Wrestlemania for the SNES. I had no idea who any of the wrestlers were as I was just getting introduced to wrestling by my uncle at that time but it was still great fun. Hammerlock, Wrestlemania the Arcade Game, and Saturday Night Slam Masters I played around the same period of time.
