Well, some 'hipsters' can be irritating if they are just looking to grab attention.
If you're the type of 'hipster' whose taken on a gimmick to make more money, even if its tacky I admire that.
The 'hipsters' which irritate me most are those who wear articles of clothing that draw unnecessary attention just so they can be 'true to who they really are on the inside.'
If the clothing has an important message attached to it, get a white shirt and screen black letters on it.

Showing me 'who you are' through the clothes you put on isn't impressive, especially if its in poor taste.
If I'm a jerk for conforming to the corporate world, then I'm a jerk for conforming to the corporate world.

To me, a hipster is a person who does things to be different yet is doing exactly what other "hipsters" are doing, so they are following a trend.
