I'm glad you are teaching him that stuff. I grew up with my brother beating the crap out of me till I was 10 :downer:

I have to do everything right because if ANYTHING happened with them arguing my ex will just go to the courts and take them away from me more. She recently filed and now I only get to see them every other week on weekends. It's total bullshit.

Aww

I'm sorry. That isn't right. Its so important for kids to have their fathers in their lives and I think a lot of women over look the importance it plays in their future, especially for little girls.

There is nothing wrong with being upset about that. They are your children too, not just hers.

You know what kind of shit that is? BULLSHIT! My husband and I talk about this stuff all the time. Men get the short end of the stick when it comes to babies/children. If a woman wants an abortion, the man has no say, but if she gives birth and he doesn't want it, he still has to pay child support. I am a woman and to me, that isn't fair. Why can a woman get rid a child she don't want but the father does but if the father doesn't want the child and the mother does, he still has to pay? Women must hate me for this, but if you are going to say men and women are equal, then let it all be equal.

She should not be able to leave state. That is not fair. Specially since you guys were already married. Like WTH! Its not like you and her had a fling or something.

For me, yes. My childhood sucked, the most enjoyable part of my life is still to come.

This is somewhat true, only when whatever you choose to do has no negative on anyone else.
A newborn child is a life, but is also a life wasted in the arms of the wrong parents, or teenage parents. There are some exceptions of course, but not often. I feel that teenage pregnancy is severely overlooked as a problem, more of them just means more of the governments budget is wasted, more areas become overcrowded, and kids generally become more stupid (which is already proven).

I don't think the age of the parents makes a great difference in all honesty. That may sound a bit ridiculous, but I think a lot of these teenage pregnancies involve parents who are going to be irresponsible whether they have the child at 16 or 25+. As for the people who will turn out to be responsible parents, I think as long as they have the backing of their own parents then they will be fine. Of course my opinion is bias, as my Mother popped me out at 16, and she ended up getting her highers at school, before going to Uni and getting an English degree, my Dad managing to get a degree in Business at Uni as well.

I agree that these teenage pregnancies need to stop, but I think as a general rule if somebody is got what it takes to be a good Mother/Father they will be able to do it at any age. (Can't see this being a widely shared opinion)

On topic I really hope there isn't another big war as it in modern times could be so destructive.

Off topic on the parency issue. Men massively get the short end of the stick regards custody a lot even tho in cases they'd be the better option. Regards age I dont see it as an issue my bro had kids at 16 an is a great father an was mature enough to deal with it all. Whereas I have yet to have kids at 28 as I just dont feel ready for that responsibility as I enjoy my freedom and gigs to much. In time I will be ready but not yet.
