I don't think it would. She seen her mother having sex when she was 5 years old. Her poor little sister was in the other room when one her mother's junkie boyfriends over dosed on heroine. My niece is a rebellious girl who wont listen to anyone other then her friends... who are complete morons. I am just glad my mom took her in because he life would be a lot worse if she was still living with her mother.

I'm still scarred by watching a live child birth in health class. When my daughter was born I looked at my wife's face until she was out lol.

lol you sound like my husband. He's like, when we have kids and you are giving birth, I am sorry, but I probably wont be in the room. LOL Its freaks him out. Umm hello, you don't think its going to freak me out a little bit!?

I think my biggest problem with it all is that they want to be treated like adults so they start drinking, smoking, having sex at a young age but to them, adulthood is some party. I was never into drinking or drug use or any of that. I was a loner who had few friends because I couldn't deal with the immature thought patterns of the people I went to school with. I think parenting takes more then making sure your kids get good grades in school. They aren't going to learn much about alcohol, sex, or adulthood there... they will only learn how to do things to fit in or be part of a group. Its like they brain wash kids into common thinking so most of them fail at life.

That is the failing of the American school system then. In my school we were taught what alcohol and drugs did to our bodies (both by parents and by teachers) and what the consequences would be. We were also taught that if you want to try alcohol, do it responsibly. And 9 out of 10 kids here if they drink does so responsibly. Parents and teachers need to realize that these subjects are real and need to be addressed. If you just sit down and talk with your kid and explain what will happen to them if they drink alcohol and possible consequences (same with sex) and ask them to be responsible, then they will by 99% chance be just that. That is my experience off it. I've had friends in high school who when they drank too much just stopped, called their mom, said they had had too much and wanted to come home. Nothing harder than that. Kid makes good on mom's trust

Take her to a women's prison and have her meet some inmates. That is proven to set kids straight or at least slow them down. Because they see where they will end up and what they will become.

I try to talk to her but she doesn't listen. My mom's not exactly easy on her either. She lies all the time, and does what she wants. My mom can't deal with her most of the time. She will call me saying she's had enough and she's ready to ship her back to her mother. I'm like... Wow.

Take her to a women's prison and have her meet some inmates. That is proven to set kids straight or at least slow them down. Because they see where they will end up and what they will become.

Some people never figure it out though. She's a follower and does things to be cool because she wants people to care about her and I understand that but she has to realize that dumbing herself down so people care is not caring about herself.

I am not talking about taking her to see a relative, I am talking about taking her to meet a felon she has no relation to. One who isn't afraid to tell her exactly what will happen to her if she keeps it up. I watch a lot of crime documentaries and one was a project were they took troubled teens to prison for 24 hours and they got to talk to inmates, one girl sassed back and 20 seconds later she was crying rivers because a inmate told her exactly what happened to girls like her.
