I loved the Fourth Kind.

I don't know if it was the sad story, but it was just the creepiest movie I've seen all year. Considering I haven't seen Paranormal yet.

Also, now I don't have a top five. I've seen a bunch of films this last two weeks, so here are the new additions to the best of 2009:

the Blind Side, Avatar, Fan Boys(I loved this one), Adventureland, Funny People, and the Orphan.

As per my View there are movies like,

1. District 9.
2. Fast And Forious
3. Public Enemies.
4. Terminator.
5. 3 idiots(Bollywood).

I don't think these order is perfect..

1. Up
2. District 9
3. Coraline
4. Taken
5. GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra (not great cinema by any stretch of the imagination, but still a ton of fun.)

Also, on the topic of Avatar, I found it to be visually stunning, but emotionally distant. The story felt horribly unoriginal, and the creature designs were underwhelming. I appreciated the generosity in depth, but beyond the visuals, I didn't find much else to like about the picture.
