ZOMBIELAND
Drag Me To Hell
Midnight Meat Train (Came out Feb 09 here)
Up
District 9

Didn't really see many movies, but Zombieland was the best I'd seen this year.

As much as I loved Shaun Of The Dead, Zombieland was so much better. Woody Harrilson (sp?) was fantastic.

Ok here are my fave five, that I can think of...

1: Zombieland. Fucking hilarious! Woody H was great, the sisters were freaking funny as fuck too.
2: Crank: High Voltage. Big fan of Statham, and after listening to the audio comm and bonus features, I have much more respect for Neveldine/Taylor (writers & directors of Crank 1 and 2)
3: 2012. Easy. Just an epic movie that continued to top itself as it went on. Should've been named though "Gordon gets fucked over"
4: Hangover. Great movie all round.
5: Star Trek. Another good movie, from start to finish. Nice way to keep the franchise fresh too, imo.

Honourable Mentions...
Paranormal Activity - Havent seen it, but I believe in it, lol.
Taken
I Love You, Man
X Men
Transformers 2
Inglorious Basterds
The Final Destination
Surrogates (Bruce Willis is Bruce Willis as Bruce Willis in, Bruce Willis. Written, Directed and Produced by Bruce Willis)
Avatar - Very average storyline wise. But the 500 mill CGI is impressive.
Law Abiding Citizen - Another one I haven't seen, but have faith in.

Movies that recieved too much hype etc...
Twilight 2
Saw 6 - I'm a HUGE fan of the Saw franchise, but this one lacked incredibly!
Time Travellers Wife - Despite all the hilarious pedophile tones and acting from Eric Bana, this still lands in the overrated movies list...
GI Joe
Bruno
Land of the Lost
DragonBall Evolution
Fast and the Furious (4)

Yeh, I had to look up what was released this year to get all those, lol.

Crank 2 was a letdown compared to the first. Saw 6 was really confusing as well. Hard to keep up. Plus Inglorious Basterds was pretty damn good, forgot about it.

I'm sorry, but Lol Kizza. How was Saw 6 confusing? I think it was the easiest of the bunch of them to follow and grasp (especially at the end).

I also have to disagree on the Crank 2 being a letdown in comparison to Crank 1. And yeh, Inglorious Basterds could be the first Tarantino movie I've enjoyed!

Too many flashbacks for my liking. I got confused at 4 and haven't really had it make any sense.

Crank 2 went only for just over an hour, and the plot was pretty bad. I still enjoyed it, but it wasn't as good as the first by any stretch of the imagination.

This is no order.

1. Inglorious Basterds.
2. Public Enemies.
3. Zombieland.
4. Paranormal Activity.
4. District 9.

Honourable mention goes to The Hangover.

EDIT: I'd say SAW6 but let's all be honest here, they're not actually good films. Just films you need to see.

4.Zombieland
3.Terminator Salvation
2.District 9
1.Avatar

Never even saw Avatar in 3D but it was incredible aside from the guy speaking english quite a lot with the Na’vi instead of their language when he is supposed to know it. I also don't know shit about the Watchmen comics but I loved it. But yeah the owl sex scene was pretty Blue.
