I just finished Jacobs Ladder....it's depressing. The ending hints that the guy is going to Heaven to live with the family he imagined

But the end text how the US government experimented on Vietnam troops with drugs has stuck with me. In the West we are brought up on "we are the good guys and they are the bad guys" - but in reality our own governments are rotten like a piece of meat left on the floor for a month. COVID taught me the lesson of how disgusting our governments are and now we have rent-boy starmer in charge who is a total sociopath....

Maybe I should watch a more upbeat film next lol
