The coolest thing was in Australia the Pay TV service we had aired RAW on Tuesday night
& Nitro Friday night...so I got to watch both shows & both sides of the War...although I never
saw Smackdown or Thunder.

Its because the AEW has a "fresh, new, exciting" vibe to it & its scaring the WWE because
I think they all know how tired & old their shows look. If the WWE were smart they would do
a full on, comic book company style reboot. Change everything up (besides the Champions
of course) & do something truly new & different.

I agree, and that is why WWE ass kissing sycophants like the OP are trying to create arguments. They are afraid that their butt buddies in WWE finally have real competition.

I mean I wanted to rate "Agree" but I'm laughing
too hard at the term "Butt Buddies"

HA!

I guess...

I just think its a funny term.

My late brother used it a lot to describe people he didn't like. He was pretty homophobic growing up, because he took after my dad. He actually even said Ric Flair and Sting were butt buddies and I told him, "I love you, bro, but Ric has gotten more girls than you can ever wish you had."

I have always found the term funny, though. I dunno :) If someone gay asked me to stop using it, I probably wou... oh fuck that, I would keep using it.

Exactly. During the Monday Night War, you had to use your VCR to record the other show and although that isn't difficult to do, it wasn't something many people did.

Even so, AEW is taking the high road by avoiding direct competition. I recall during the Monday Night Wars, that was Mcahon's biggest problem. He complained over and over again about splitting the audience.

So, we get AEW. They hold PPVS on Saturday and are looking to put a show on that directly does not conflict with any WWE programming. So what do we get, we get Vince deciding to try and put something opposite them to hurt their ratings.

Nothing in this world I hate more than a hypocrite. This is like when TNA tried to use the Attitude Era philosophy to compete with WWE and Vince called it "tawdry." In Vince's mind, it is always right if he does it and always wrong if anyone else does.

Apparently Vince barely even pays any attention to NXT. But I would think it Fox was serious and wrote McMahon a big enough check, that he would sign off on airing NXT on Fox. The real issue is how would Triple H feel about going head to head with AEW? It seems Cody has a bone to pick with Triple H. I feel like NXT fans are more similar to AEW fans than WWE fans. NXT and AEW are both in this sweet spot where they are a little too high to be indy, but not high end enough to be WWE level, so a Wednesday Night War with two sharp minds like Triple H and Cody going head to head would result in some great televsion.

Prove to me with objective evidence that Vince doesn't care about NXT. Prove it to me. Show me evidence where he or other higher ups have confirmed this. Do it or your argument means nothing.

He put his damn son in law in charge of it, someone that we know is IMPORTANT in his life. That shows me he cares about it a lot.

I am going to tell you this now and this will be the end of the discussion. If you like WWE and hate AEW, then spend your time in the WWE threads talking about it. Stop trying to create troll threads against AEW because you like creating problems. And don't tell me you're not doing this, because that would offend me more than anything you have done so far. It's obvious to everyone but you.

I am getting pretty irritated with Mr Roman Empire's continuous need to bash AEW and he is creating threads to continue to do this. I am locking this.

WWE fans, talk about WWE in WWE threads.

AEW fans, talk about AEW in AEW threads.

Some conflict is expected, but deliberate trolling will be dealt with.
