Johhny TakeOver and his wife come down to the ring to open the show. Huge welcome back chants like he was actually gone Gargano says going into TakeOver he dremt of this moment, it's good to be home. For too long he was defined by two words "Tommaso Ciampa" He broke my heart and cost me the NXT title and my career. For the longest time I couldn't even say his name, but after 37 of the most intense minutes, he's ever spent in a ring. He can say he has his life back and is where he belongs. He says looking back these last few months have been the toughest of his career but seeing the fans shove those Gargano signs in Ciampa's face and chanting his name, made it all worth it. And to my wife, he wouldn't have been able to do it without him. He says Mr. and Mrs of Wrestling have 1 piece of unfinished businesses, Candice says she will take care of that when she beats Vega tonight. Gargano says once this is all said and done, he wants to be the first to challenge the NEW NXT World Champion.

Ricochet vs. Fabian Aichner
This is the battle of the awful denim vests. Good showcase for Rico and Fabian continue to shine as a great hand. He works the back and mid-section, awesome backbreakers and gutbusters as he does everything to take the wind out of him. Dope Ricochet comeback big springboard moves and face paced counters. The match ends when Fabian tries as superplex off the top, but Rico shoves him off and hits the 630 for the win. **1/4

After the match; Kayla asks Rico how it feels to make his Full Sail debut. He says it feels great, a place he watched all the greats come through and go to the next level. Now it's his turn, he came here to make a name for himself and show the world he's the 1 and only Ricochet.

War Raiders vs. The Metro Brothers

Earlier today, at the PC Shayna, walks in on the woman's meeting. She says this is her locker room now, she then rips ember name off one of the lockers and puts a spades card in its place. She says if you are scared to get out, so Kai leaves. Shayna then tells the rest of the girls to get in line and get behind her.

WWE.com EXCLUSIVE, A cameraman asks Pete Dunne for his thoughts on what happened at TakeOver, Dunne says he'll be back in a few weeks and he'll rip Roddy's head off.

NoDq Match: Lars Sullivan vs. Killian Dain
Much better then that first silly match, they beat the shit out of one another but also incorporate the new age big man offense like Dain doing a tope con hilo through the middle rope, but Lars catches him in mid-air and throws him into the post. He follows up with a suplex to the floor before rolling Dain back in and begins the beating. Not much focus on the control, just wearing Dain down with shit until the comeback. He does hit a dive off the top, someone all the old heads are rolling in their graves. Lars then grabs a couple of chairs and brings them into the ring, he hits him in the mid-section before attempting to choke Dain with it but Dain powers off and hits the running dropkick for distance. Usual comeback follows, Vaderbomb gets two, so Dain brings out a table and sets it up in the corner. Lars blocks the throw and goes for the diving headbutt off the top, but he misses and he hits his head on a chair. Dain then goes for the crossbody but again Lars catches him in mid-air and hits the WSS for two. Both men are slow to get up, and this time Dain hits the crossbody and it sends both men through the table. Dain then places a chair on Lars' face and attempts the coast2coact but Lars gets up and hits him in the midsection again with the chair, and 1 to the back. Freak accident onto the chairs ends it. **3/4

UNDISPUTED ERA NEXT WEEK! BOOM!

Candice LeRae vs. Zelina Vega
Goes 4 minutes or so, at some point both Almas and Gargano come out. The match ends when Candice locks in the stretch the same time Gargano locks it in on Almas and they both tap.

After the match, Black comes out and accepts Gargano's challenge for a world title match....But, for NEXT WEEK!

The Undisputed Era comes out to open the show, Cole this is what happens when you back them into a corner. Since the beginning NXT has done everything to prevent this, Fish says it's no secret at war games they were thrown to the wolves and in New Orleans the same thing. But at every turn, they stand one step ahead, and they stand here dripping in gold. Roddy says everyone wants to know WHY RODDY WHY? He's not the type to pat himself on the back that's what they're here for. For once he did something for himself, he made the best decision of his career. And sure he could have won the tag titles at TakeOver, but how long till Dunne turned on him? We know the only thing Pete cares about is the UK title. Not these guys, time after time I've seen the UE take a bullet for one another. It's always been Roddy vs. the world, and he's always come up short. Now we can fight together and take over NXT. Kyle says they are done being backed into a corner, we can't be stopped and this is the era of the undisputed. Cole says he will defend his title right now against Oney and do it ALONE!

North America Championship: Adam Cole vs. Oney Lorcan
FUCK YEAH! ONEY BAK! Cole has his ribs taped up so they play off that for the whole match. Oney keeps targeting it so, Cole goes to submissions to keep him grounded it's a great little story. Oney has his usual awesome comeback where he doesn't give a shit about Cole's health and beats the shit out of him. Kyle runs out with a trainer and begins throwing up the X so the ref goes to check on Cole, but Roddy comes from the other side and hits the backdrop onto the apron. Cole somehow recovers and hits the shining wizard for the win. **1/4

Kyle and Roddy put the boots to Oney post-match, but Danny makes the save, the numbers catch up to him and they beat him down too. SO IT BEGINS!

Heavy Machinery vs. Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss
Trash for 4 minutes, Tino walks out on Moss this time which allows HM to win. Hopefully, this is the end of whatever this is.

HM call out the War Raiders post-match.

Backstage: Cathy tries to interview Dakota Kai, but she's shook so Shayna comes over and says a woman's division run by her is Kai's worse nightmare. Kai just stands shook.

NEXT WEEK: DUNNE/RODDY II

Johnny Gargano comes out for his World Title match.......................BUT CIAMPA ATTACKS HIM ON THE STAGE He throws him onto the announce table and beats the shit out of him. Ciampa "screams he will never get rid of him" He goes for the air raid crash, but Gargano blocks it and begins to fight back. They fight back onto the stage, but Ciampa low blows him. He then knees him in the head and his head hits off one of the LED boards. BUT HE'S NOT DONE..........AIR RAID CRASH OFF THE RAMP THROUGH TWO TABLES. Candice and EMT's run out and Johnny is placed on a stretcher and taken to an ambulance outside. Black walks by shocked to see Gargano like this and walks off.

CIAMPA NOW ADDS HIS NAME INTO THE MVP RACE BY STANDING ON TOP OF ONE OF THE PRODUCTION TRUCKS AND WAVES AT THE AMBULANCE AS IT DRIVES OFF

Black now comes down to the ring, he says Ciampa by eliminating his competition he.......BUT UGH! EY and Sanity come out, EY talks his usual gibberish but Black cuts him off mid-promo and challenges him to a match for his world title. And the match is on.

Meh match, totally predictable Black Mass ends it. EY and co can fuck off to SD now.

Goes for a couple of minutes, not much to write about. Both teams get an equal amount of offense in. Ford has a solid hot tag, but, TM GET DESPERATE AND ONE OF THE LOSERS PUTS HIS FEET ON THE ROPES DURING A SUNSET FLIP AND GETS THE UPSET WIN.

War Raiders vs. Heavy Machinery Next Week, But first the "TALE OF THE TAPE"

Backstage: Cathy asks Ohno about his take on the Gargano/Ciampa situation. Ohno says he has known both guys for over 10 years, Ciampa is a coward and when he saw his friend being stretched out, looking all helpless, he knew he what he had to do. He has to make Cimpa feel that same way.

I don't get this gimmick, he still sucks in the ring. And I'm ashamed to admit this, but his theme kinda goes hard. He hits a modified Samoan Drop for the win

Earlier Today, Dakota Kai talks to the NXT Media, but Venessa Borne comes over and mocks her on being scared of Shayna.

Candice LaRae vs. Bianca Belair
Angle match, Candice is still broken up about what happened to Johnny so she's not focused on the match, so, BB destroys her. Reverse powerbomb gets the win.

Pete Dunne vs. Roderick Strong (w/The Undisputed Era)
So this is a blast, they know one another so well at this point kayfabe wise, and with the Roddy turn they skip all the feeling out and just proceed to beat the shit out of one another. Nasty stiff strikes, I love that it's a constant fight even during holds the other won't stop fighting. E.G. During an abdominal stretch, Dunne uses his free hand to hit Roddy in the face or during a side-headlock Dunne goes to the face just to rake it. Roddy works the mid-section, it's a blast but shortlived. Dunne hits the EXPlex to spark a comeback, but Roddy cuts him off by throwing him to the apron, he hits a sick high-knee and follows up with a backbreaker for two. They go back and forth trading big moves for near-falls. Roddy hits a super angle slam off the top for two, Roody throws a chop but DUNNE CATCHES THE HAND AND DOES THE FINGER BREAKER STUFF He hits the Bitter End but Cole and Kyle break up the pin for the DQ. **3/4

Oney and Burch run out to even the odds, and clean house to end the show.

Ricochet comes down to the ring, he says every place he's been to around the world he always wanted to make sure everyone remembered him. It was his mission to make sure after Mania weekend everyone was talking about him. NXT is all about taking over, and he intends to do that. You can call it confidence or cocky, but each and every time he steps foot in a ring he shows there is only one "RICOCHET" BUT, THE DREAM COMES OUT! He says No, no, no, no, no, no. Look. Who's giving you this authority? who's allowed him to walk down this ramp and get into the ring? He says he talks about taking over, but BABE! Take a step back and get this 1 thing straight. He calls himself "the one and only" You know, the Dream agrees you make this look good, but the Dream also has to let you know there is 1 man. There is 1 experience and you are looking at him. You can jump around the ring and try to make a name for yourself, no matter how you flip or flop....you better make sure you land at the back of the line, and behind him. Rico laughs at him and says he gets it he knows he's the new guy around here, but he knows about him. He made these people and the world champion said his name. Dream says if he keeps running his mouth "Dream Over" will be more than just a phrase. Rico says he doesn't have to worry about him running his mouth, he will just run circles around him. And he likes to think this is his show and spotlight, but now that he's here he's here to steal his show and spotlight. Dream says it's funny, he can try his best to steal both those things. BUT ANYTHING HE CAN DO, THE DREAM CAN DO BETTER! Ricochet says to prove it and they both drop the mics. Dream goes to make a charge at him, but drops to his knees and slides out.

Raul Mendoza vs. EC3
Decent EC showcase, I'm not the biggest fan of his in-ring stuff, he's just a good hand you know. Solid mid-carder. I like this Bruce Wayne without the batman gimmick, all credit to Percy for coming up with that. And I was a huge fan of the origins of the ECIII gimmick, 1% AKA TKOCutter ends it.

After the match, Cathy asks how important it was to pick up this win tonight after losing the Ladder match. EC3 says the only thing from her on is win after win until he rebrands this place from NXT to NX3.

Last Week, Oney and Danny meet Dunne in the PC. Danny and Oney tell Dunne they don't like him and think he's scum. But the UE has 3 and they need a third. Dunne nods and walks off.

HOLY SHIT! Borne has the greatest attire of all time, or at least top 3.

Dakota Kai vs. Vanessa Borne
This is a blast for what it was. Borne has a fine control, I think the new attire has given her some new confidence. And Kai throws some great kicks before winning. Shayna comes out post-match, and intimidates Kai some before CHOKING OUT BORNE! Kai watches and leaves like a coward, as Shayna watches on.

During the break, Cathy bumps into Kai. She asks what just happen and Kai says she wanted to help but froze up and ran. Shayna comes over and taunts her some more before leaving. Nikki Cross then comes over and laughs at Kai too.

Heavy Machinery vs. War Raiders
Another short match, pretty much a Raider's squash for the most part. HM get some shots in but it didn't matter. Sideslam/leg drop combo ends it.

Undisputed Era vs. Dunne, Oney, Burch NEXT WEEK

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Kassius OhNo
Good TV main event, very WWE style. Ohno comes out the gates heated and pissed so he takes the fight right to Ciampa to start, but he wheaters the storm and trips Ohno up from the apron to take over. He works the face and the neck to fill the time, Ohno's comeback is great, he brawls it up and gets the better with strikes. An awesome moment he takes off his arm sleeve to expose the elbow and uses the point of the elbow and begins raking his forehead and eye. He then does teh same with his kneepad and knees him right in his blackeye. Ohno continues to beat the shit out of him, so Ciampa hides behind the ref and suckers Ohno in. He rips off the wrist tape again but the ref takes it away. SO CIAMPA GOES AFTER OHNO'S EYE NOW He follows up kneeing him in the head with the knee brace but only gets a two. They begin trading big strikes, but Ciampa hits a spinning lariat and finishes him off with Fairy Tale Ending (Double underhook sit-out facebuster) for the win. ***

After the Match; Ciampa takes off his knee brace and hits Ohno in the back of the head with it, he then uses it to choke Ohno with it the same way Gargano did to him at TakeOver. He then yells at him "Was it worth it"

That's why he's standing here, while Gargano is at home in a neck brace, that HE put him in. He then walks down to the ring and does the Gargano/CLB look into the crowd taunt . He says piece by piece, he has broken him. He broke his heart, mind, and spirit and now his body. Johnny Wrestling is gone. HE WINS! Candice comes down to the ring now, she asks who is he? she use to think she knew him but now doesn't recognize what he's become. He's obsessed with ruining their lives and don't understand why? The only thing broken is him. She says she's done shedding tears with, she's done sharing her like with the man she and her husband had stand next to them on their wedding day. He's a monster she will never forgive, and while Gargano's future is uncertain. HE WILL ALWAYS KNOW HER HUSBAND WAS BETTER THAN HIM! Ciampa says maybe? but he and she both knows Gargano knows he is half the man he will ever be, that's why he sent his cute little wife out here. Ciampa then drops the bomb "HE DID LIVE WITH THE TWO OF THEM FOR TWO YEARS, AND SAYS SHE'S ALWAYS BEEN MORE OF A MAN THAN GARGANO" Crowd then starts a "Mess him up, Candice, Mess him up!" chant But Ciampa says the whole time he was at their wedding, all he could think was how can this woman marry such a big...................BUT SHE SLAPS HIM! Ciampa gets out of the win and says I win, so Candice leaves.

FUCK YEAH! NIGEL IS BACK!

Brandi Lauren vs. Lacey Evans
I don't know who this Brandi girl is but she's adorable, and she's an Arn fan so I'm now fully on board. UGH, they gave Lacey a new theme, which means double fuck her and I can no longer sing "HEY, NOW" whenever she comes out. Lacey squash, big right-hand ends it.

Lacey leaves up the ramp, but Sane pearl harbors her from behind They brawl down the ring, but, Lacey quickly rolls out of the way before Sane can go for the elbow.

Earlier Today, Dakota talks to the NXT Media again. She calls Nikki crazy and says she doesn't know what her play is, Cross runs over and says she's got a question? WHEN IS SHE GONNA FIGHT SHAYNA FOR THE GOLD? Kai is scared, so Nikki tells her to face her fears and fight.

The Velveteen Dream vs. Ricochet
Ricochet uses his experience and superior mat wrestling to ground Dream early, but it's Dream who quickens the pace that totally throws Rico off. They then one-up the other with fake out dives. About a minute later they bump heads. But LARZ attacks both men for the no contest. Good angle match, that just makes me super hyped for the big TakeOver match now.

Kona got new music and it's harder than his other theme, GODDAMMIT!

LOL FUCK OUTTA HERE WITH THIS BULLSHIT!

Backstage: Cathy is outside GM Regals' office, she bumps into both Ricochet and Dream who both demand a match with Lars. They go in together.

In the back, TM and HM set up a match for next week.

Danny Burch, Oney Lorcan & Pete Dunne vs. The Undisputed Era
Kyle and Danny officially start the match, after heel Roody taunts Dunne by throwing his UE t-shirt in his face. They isolate Danny pretty early on, they isolate the arm. AND DICK RODDY IS THE BEST. He does Dunne's arm breaker thing and even does the taunt but his cockiness costs him and Danny tags Dunne in who beats the shit out of him like last week. Faces all do the finger breaker in stereo which was cool. Cole and Kyle then distract Dunne, which allows Roddy to attack him from behind and now the UE isolate Dunne for a bit. Roddy/Dunne continues to be awesome hate filled brawling, ONEY'S HOT TAG FUCKIN RULED! The match breaks down, Dunne forearms the shit out of Cole who takes an MR. Perfect level bump Roddy then takes out both Oney and Dunne. He hits Burch with a high knee, Cole hits the neckbreaker and Kyle kicks his head in but only gets a two. Burch begins to fight back, he dumps both Cole and Roddy to the floor and locks in a crossface to Kyle, Oney locks in the Boston crab to Roddy and Dunne locks in a modified octopus. But Roddy, who knows the hold too well, rolls throw and sends Oney into everyone to break all the holds. Dunne suplexes he and Cole to the floor, the tag teams are left and begin trading brawls but KYLE HITS RODDY BY MISTAKE AND ONEY HITS DOUBLE BLOCKBUSTERS AND THEY HIT A WHEELBARROW DDT ON KYLE FOR THE WIN. ***
