NXT Episode 331
December 19th, 2018
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Io Shirai & Dakota Kai vs. Jessamyn Duke & Marina Shafir
This is rough and bad, Duke and Marina are still super green, they do all the basics and that's fine but that's about it. Duke is by far the worse one of the group and she needs to hit up Charlotte's Dr's. Io has an okay hots tag and hits a moonsault off the top for the win, I can see why WWE hasn't gone forward with that horsewoman stable feud yet. They got another 3-4 years before they even get to a 1/4 as good as Ronda let alone Shayna who is is better than her.

Dominik Dijakovic NEXT!

Earlier Today, Matt Riddle talked with the media. He says he's not happy with Ohno but doesn't blame him. He needs all the advantages he can get, he dares Ohno to get in the ring with him again. Take care bros.

Dominik Dijakovic vs. Aaron Mackey
I don't know a single thing about Dijakovic, he looks like one of those American gladiator show guys. Same body and douchebag face. Mauro and Nigel put him over huge before the bell. As for the match, meh standard greet 6'7 monster stuff. Vince will love him. He hits a torture rack into a high knee, so pretty much a reverse/inverted/modified GTS for the win. LOL.

Next week, Belair vs. Lacey vs. Mia vs. Io #1 Contenders match.

Heavy Machinery vs. Mike Howe & Danny Dicardo
SQUASH! And yes you read that right, the guy's name is Dicardo :DEAD:

Heavy Machinery/UE - Tag Titles NEXT WEEK!

Steel Cage Match: Aleister Black vs. Johnny Gargano
Ways to win, Escape, pinfall or submission. Gargano attacks Black just as he's about to enter the ring, and they brawl around ringside for a couple of minutes before eventually getting into the ring. And then sigh, it becomes the norm new WWE style cage match. No hate, it restricts them from what they mostly Gargano does best and that insane spots and crazy bumps on the apron or to the floor. Slow methodical brawling, with the occasional escape which kinda makes no sense as Black, said he wants to annihilate him, and I don't think a couple of chest kicks and a moonsault off the top is enough, but whatever. Speaking of they actually do the tease spot with Black able to leave but decides better and comes back, which allows Gargano to fight his way back in. They go back and forth as the match begins to drag a bit, the best part of the match as Gargano having the Black Mass scouted again so when he catches the boot he swings it and hangs Black's leg over the ropes and begins kicking the middle rope. He then lawn darts him in the corner, then the cage mesh. Gargano then thinks about laving, but then says it his time to absove Black of his sins but Black connects with Black Mass. They do the "BIG" who will escape first deal with Gargano going over the top, as Black tries to go through the door but Ciampa runs out and slams the cage door into Blacks head. He begins beating him up as Gargano comes back into the cage. THEY STAND IN OPPISITE CORNERS AND DO THE DIY FINISHER! CIAMPA THE PUPPET MASTER LAUGHS AS GARGANO CAN'T BELEIEVE WHAT HE JUST DID! But also realizes he's in a match and covers for the win. Meh, nice for advancing the story i guess. **1/2

NXT Episode 332

#1 Contenders Fatal 4-Way Match: Io Shirai vs. Lacey Evans vs. Mia Yim vs. Bianca Belair
This is alright, the woman knows how to do multi-person matches way better than the guys for some reason, constant action even if it isn't the best. But still, something is always going on. For some reason, they have Lacey be the support of the match, and be the one to control pacing and stuff. The match ends when Io looks like she has it won after hitting the moonsault but Belair whips the shit out of her during the cover and reverse powerbombs her to Mia on the floor, she finishes Lacey off with the KoD for the win. **

Mitch Taverna vs. Jaxson Ryker (w/Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake)
Terrible showcase. Fuck these guys.

Velveteen Dream video package.

Recap of last weeks Steel Cage match.

Ciampa is in the back, he says he is a man of his word, and when he makes a promise he always delivers. Sometimes he feels like a broken record, last week was his vindication and proved that someone is listening. Gargano listens and followed his lead and he pinned Aleister Black the man who has a title shot. Ciampa asks where this leaves Gargano, and says Gargano deserves an opportunity at the North American title. Think about it, this is what they talked about. This is their takeover.

NXT World Tag Team Championships: Heavy Machinery vs. The Undisputed Era
Fun times, HM use their size to control early and isolate Roddy for a bit. Kyle suckers Tucker in which allows Roddy to do a belly to back onto the apron, but they miss the apron and Tucker takes the back suplex to the floor. UE target the leg, knee, and ankle. Well, Roddy does, Kyle does Kyle stuff so he works the knee but then randomly puts a triangle choke hold or does another hold to the head. Otis' has a good hot tag, the match breaks down with both teams doing double teams for near falls. HM breakout this awesome catapult into a side belly to belly for two. The match ends when UE run off one of their 8 move combos and drop Otis with the high/low for the win. **1/2

Another year in the books awards up next.

Now that I'm almost up to date, so, I'm prob gonna stop watching as I prefer to let NXT sit so I don't get caught up on all the hype from the internet. I'll prob start NXT UK next week. Have to admit I'm proud of myself only took a year to finish 7 years.
