Sami Zayn's music hits, BUT INSTEAD, KEVIN OWENS COMES OUT WEARING A CENA SHIRT FOR THE EPIC TROLL! He says he was going to issue an NXT Title Open Challenge tonight, but the fact is that he's not an insecure person and he doesn't feel like he has to defend his title against just anybody to prove himself. He likes when people earn matches against him. The crowd chants "JOHN CENA SUCKS", and asks why they don't chant that Sami Zayn sucks. They clap and chant, yet recently someone called him a bad person, and that's not true. He is a good man. Because That was the last time that horrendous theme song, because of what he did at Takeover. And he doesn't know why that's surprising, because he did what he said he would do. Sami ASKED for the match, and he warned him. He showed up, and he took him out like he said he would. He did it to keep this title and keep providing for his family because that is the essence of what a good man is. When Samoa Joe walked out on that ramp and this place exploded, he CHOSE to let them have that moment. He's not scared of Samoa Joe, and he could have dropped him like that. If he steps in the same ring as him again, he will. And speaking of dropping people, at Elimination Chamber, he'll show John Cena that the REAL champ is here. GM William Regal comes out and says he's walking a very thin line here. He says in the last six months, he's seen Riley, Neville, and Hideo stretchered out. Kevin says he had nothing to do with Itami, but he did the others Regal says, of course, he didn't, dear boy. Kevin says Sami's injury isn't on him, it's on Regal for making the match. Solomon Crowe comes out and says he can't listen to this garbage anymore. He says he heard Owens say he won't fight anyone unless he earns it. Kevin mocks his voice. Crowe says he's scared of competition and says Kev's not a good guy, he's a piece of crap. Kevin says it looks like he just earned himself an opportunity and Regal books the match.

Hideo Itami is in the trainer's room, he says somebody attacked him and doesn't know who, but they took his opportunity at the NXT title. His surgery was a success and when he comes back, there will be no stopping him.

During the TakeOver show, Renee interviewed Ryder. MoJo comes over and gets hype with him. UGH!

Bayley vs. Emma (w/Dana Brook)
Evil Emma is way better than when she first started, she's aggressive and has gotten a lot better with her strikes. She's hitting hard, looking super crisp, and doing a lot of dope heel antics. Best of was grabbing Bayley's hair and pulling it over the ropes, Bayley barely gets a comeback before Emma dragon screws her into the Emma Lock for the clean win. *3/4

After the match; Dana pulls Bayley up and Emma slaps her. Charlotte comes out to save, but the 2-1 is too much for her and the BFF's end up beating her down too.

At TakeOver, Renee interview Bas Corbs he says Rhino called HIM out and said he was the "other" force, but he learned what he knows. He's the only unstoppable force. Rhino comes over and says that was really fun. He'd like to do it again sometime.

The Becky video package airs again.

Elias Samson & Mike Rallis vs. Blake & Murphy (w/Alexa Bliss)
Showcase for the champs, After the match, they hold poor Elias down so Alexa can hit twisted Bliss on him.

Backstage: Devin is with BBM when Devin asks Bliss how this call came about. Alexa asks if she learned that question in journalism school. She says these two are winners. She's a winner. Winners gravitate towards each other. Now Compare this to Carmella, the Princess of Staten Island. That's a garbage town. She's been around trash her entire life, so her allegiance makes sense. They have a match next week, and she'll send her back to the dump she came from.

Tye Dillinger vs. Finn Balor
Finn showcase.

During the week, that Greg guy interviews Jason Jordan at the PC. He says he's got a game plan and is searching and he's found the partner. Chad Gable comes over and says his cauliflower ears are burning, he must be talking about him. He's his man. Jordan shakes his head, and Gable shows off his towel. State and national champ, Olympic team, and asks if he's ever heard of it before Jason knows that. and says he already HAS a partner, and if he needs him, he'll call him. Gable throws him the towel and says to keep it.

Kevin Owens vs. Soloman Crowe
Sadly this doesn't get much time to develop into what it could have been, they have a tremendous brawl until Soloman gets shoved off the top allowing Kev to takeover. He briefly works his chinlock stuff, but thankfully ends it to do asshole Kev offense. Crowe doesn't get much of a comeback outside an awesome looking running high knee in the corner, but Owens hits the pop-up powerbomb for the win. **

After the match; Kevin tries the apron powerbomb, but Joe comes out, so Owens drops him and gets back into the ring. Joe gets in, but Owen's quickly bails to the floor. He points to Crowe and says he's just giving him a warning, next time it will be you. THE CHAMP IS HERE!!!! Which gives Owens even more points in the MVP race, cause he did it to JOE the originator of "THE CHAMP IS HERE"

Tyler Breeze vs. Adam Rose
This is a thing, that I wish wasn't. Rose looks like a sleazeball and completely given up on life, which means his time must be coming to an end. Both men work heel, but also sprinkle some face stuff in it, it's weird and doesn't mesh well at all. Rose's control is super basic, so it's the norm for 2015 NXT. Tyler takes some nice bumps and does some flashy 99/00 Jericho stuff for his comeback, he hits the Beauty shot out of nowhere for the win. *1/2

Backstage: Devin is with Soloman, he says he feels pretty beaten but doesn't regret a thing. He says Owens gave him a pretty good beating, and he doesn't know why Joe did what he did, but he's okay with him. And when he comes back, he will be better than ever and will be back in the ring against the NXT champion.

Dana Brooke was in the Arnold Classic in Rio over the weekend.

Greg Hamilton is on the stage and brings out EVA MARIE! IT'S HAPPENING! She gets booooooooo'ed the whole time, Greg asks why she's here and Eva tries to suckup but it backfires, she says she loves the fans too and people have asked why she was at Takeover. She was there to see the buzz about the women of NXT and they clearly stole the show. She wants to compete with the best at NXT.

At a weak ass press conference, Regal announces that a July 4th show in Tokyo will be on the WWE Network, and announces that on that show, it will be Kevin Owens vs. Finn Balor for the NXT Championship.

Carmella (w/Enzo & Cass) vs. Alexa Bliss (w/Blake & Murphy)
Decent at best, both girls are getting used to the role reversals. Bliss finally has more offense that isn't flashy rollups so that's nice. She works the head with an awful cravat hole, Ohno is rolling in his grave, or in fast food either one. Mella has a pretty awful comeback, she taunts too much which allows Bliss to schoolboy her and hold the ropes for the win. *

Backstage: Devin is with Rhyno, she asks for his thoughts on his match with Finn tonight. Rhyno says he enjoyed going to war with Corbin, but it's time to get back to what he came here for. He came here to be at the top of the hottest thing going. Finn Balor is the top contender and he's dangerous, but his theatrics won't phase a psychotic man-beast like himself. when he Gores him, he'll be one step closer to what he came here for, to become NXT Champion.

Jason Jordan & Marcus Louis vs. The Vaudevillains
Angle match, for the most part, it's about getting the VV back into title contention, and to further the Jordan story. VV pinks Louis. After the match; Jordan talks down to his loser partner.

In a pre-tape, Finn is sitting in the locker room. He says Japan, a country that he forged his career in. Japan, a country he won 11 championships in. To return to Tokyo to face Owens for the title. He says he's not overlooking Owens for one second, he's seen what he did to Sami and everybody saw what he did to Cena. Kevin Owens is the real deal, but he's about to meet the Demon. He will walk in champ, but HE will leave champion July 4th.

Rhyno vs. Finn Balor
This gets 8 minutes or so, it's pretty solid and a lot better than expected. Rhyno goes to the power game early to wear Finn down. But he tries to get too flashy by going to the top, which opens to door for Finn to do stuff. He has a pretty nice dive to the floor as we go to break, once we return Rhyno takesover working the back, lots of awesome hard slams. Finn has his best selling showing to date. Finn doesn't get a comeback, he just hits his go home sequence but Rhyno avoids Coup de Grace, but he then misses a Gore into the corner and Balor schoolboys him for the win. **1/4

After the match; Rhyno watches on from the floor and looks broken, he leaves so Finn can celebrate some more. He makes it to the stage......................BUT RHYNO RUNS BACK OUT AND DRILL THE SHIT OUT OF HIM A THE GORE! GORE! GOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

And Bliss calls them trash? She's the one with red hair now, bye Felicia. Enzo says her head's on fire, girl on fire. Just got dropped into the game, came to ruin their day, Mockingjay. Guess what? She wouldn't last a night in the Hunger Games, neither would the sweet boys cause they have an life expectancy of a snowman in the sun, but they rep their district like a barbell. Cass says the term "don't take this the wrong way" has a 0% success rate, but they're cowards, liars, cheaters, they look ridiculous, and this place would look a whole lot better if they weren't around anymore. Enzo says he has plenty of time and no time for this.

Jess McKay vs. Becky Lynch
Jess is Billie Kay, she's not really good and Becky isn't much of a squash wrestler. She does the Sami approach where she allows Jess to get a shit load of offense in, before locking in the Disarmer for the win.

Backstage: Regal is talking about Joe's match when Bull comes in eating a bag of Doritos, Regal says he may have a problem. Bull says if this is about earlier tonight he can explain, he was up all night training and didn't get much sleep that's why he got so tired, and it won't happen again. Regal takes his chips and says he needs to get his act together and leaves. BULL THEN PULLS OUT A CHOCOLATE BAR OUT OF HIS ATTIRE AND STARTS EATING IT! FUCKING FATBOY BULL IS THE BEST!

Backstage: Greg is with Kurt's kid, he says his partner didn't work out but he always has a gameplan and a new tag team partner. Chad Gable comes over and Jason says it's NOT him. Gable says he won't say he told him so, but he told him. So, and when he's ready and realizes he's his man, he'll be here. READY! WILLING! AND GABLE!

Scott Dawson vs. Samoa Joe
FUCK YES! ONE-HALF OF MY KIDS IS STILL ALIVE! Joe is not what he was from 2005, he's clearly past his prime so he has to rely on being a bully monster. But it's kinda weird with him being a face so it doesn't really work out until it's time for the comeback and he completely destroys poor Dawson. Dawson is fucking amazing as usual he dies on all the bumps and sells Joe's amazing jabs. He treats this like Arn vs. Vader and makes everything look nasty. Kev is also awesome on commentary as he keeps trying to put down Joe while bigging himself and his accomplishments up. He also shits on Saxton cause that's always fun. Muscle Buster ends it. **1/2

After the match; Owens goes to leave, but Joe grabs a mic and yells at him to not leave yet. He says the last time he was in here, if he stepped in with him, he'd drop him. But when he stepped in, he did what he's doing right now, and he ran away. He calls him down to be a good man and give the world the fight they want to see. Kevin says he doesn't run ANYWHERE, first of all. Second of all, if he dropped him after his first match, that wouldn't be being a good man. Joe should thank him. And Joe's a bit of a rookie here in NXT, but as a veteran, he should tell him, YOU CAN'T JUST WALK IN AND GET AN NXT TITLE SHOT AFTER ONE MATCH He hasn't earned it yet. GM Regal comes out and books Owens/Joe next week in a none-title match.

Enzo Amore, Colin Cassady & Carmella vs. Blake, Murphy & Alexa Bliss
The run the same formula, but this time Mella gets the hot tag takes out Bliss allowing her guys to hit the Rocket launcher for the win.

Backstage: Devin is with Samoa Joe, she asks if Owens is the reason he came here. Joe says he's always provided himself in competing in places that were on the cutting edge and that were on fire and the talk of the world. That perfectly described NXT, as for Kevin Owens. He just doesn't like him. He likes to make statements through intimidation, but that's a tactic of the weak and cowardly. The tactic of a man who doesn't want to fight. So he'll make his own statement by beating down Kevin Owens unmercifully.

Part I of the "Who is Finn Balor" video package airs, it talks about his upbringing, how he discovered wrestling, his journey through the indies in Irland and other parts of the UK. Becky blatantly gives away how much she's in love with him and how he saved her life when he opened a school and trained her at age 15. He then talks about getting the call from New Japan, and how hard it was to leave and go to Japan.

KC Cassidy vs. Charlotte
Super short but they get right to the point, both are babyfaces so they do the mutual respect mat wrestling stuff before getting onto their bigger spots. Cass looks great, but so does Charlotte who's improved leaps and bounds from what she first was or what she was at the start of the year, everything is sound and smooth. She works the head with the cravat and adds some brutal knees to the head in that position. Charlotte hits a sweet spear and follows up with the figure-eight for the win. **

Backstage: Devin is standing by with Dana Brooke. Dana makes her call her Ms. Brooke/Ms. Understood. They called her a FORMER fitness competitor. She's currently one and has been busy doing that in Brazil. But, now she's back for all her fans, but it's bad for Charlotte. Last time, she left Charlotte lying in the middle of the ring. She's being replaced by the Total Diva and some people earn their way into NXT while others use their family to get in the door. She will shove her right out that door and slam it shut.

Kevin Owens vs. Samoa Joe
AWESOME Start with KO trying his stalling antics on the floor, but Joe immediately darts to the floor and gets in his face not falling for it. Kev gets cocky right away so Joe friggin destroy's him with these amazing rapid fire body blows. Joe shows these flashes of what he used to be with the face wash and other brutal looking kicks. Kevin has his usual chinlock segment, but this time he can't just rest and shit talk as Joe struggles and tries to fight it off so it forces Kev to keep wrenching at the neck. We do get the token Kev yell when he yells "CHINLOCK CITY" and obviously the Florida losers eat it up. Joe has some brief comebacks as he busts out the combos for near falls. They end up fighting on the floor, and the ref tries to get them to go back into the ring but they fight through him so he calls for the bell. **1/2

Joe and Owens continue to fight as refs try to restrain order. They manage to pull Joe off as Owens goes to the ring and dares him to comeback, so Joe does they have this awesome pull apart fight until security eventually breaks it up to end the show. Sadly, nothing really comes of this.

As this is the first post-Dusty taping, the entire locker room comes out onto the stage for the ten bell salute.

Hideo Itami comes down to the ring, he has his arm in a sling. Greg claims Hideo will only be out 3-4 months which means GREG JINXED HIM! Hideo says he can't wait to be back in the ring, Greg then talks about Hideo coming back from promoting Kevin Owens vs. Finn Balor in Japan on July 4th, and he wants to eventually challenge the winner for the NXT Title. Kevin comes out onto the stage and says, it's great to know he will be in Japan he gets to see his son and his wife, too bad he won't be competing. Next time, though. He says he knows Hideo will be there to witness him ending Finn Balor for good. He's not leaving Tokyo without the NXT Title, but he's here to clear this up. He says he doesn't know if it's the meds they're giving him, or he's simply delusional. Because he's been dealing with "DELUSS-DELUSIB-DEEE" Fuck yeah he botches saying the work Delusinable He saves it by saying he stumbled so bad he sounds like Hideo trying to speak English. Owens says he's out here for two reasons, 1 to say He's NOT the one who did that to Hideo, and if he was the one who attacked him, he'd be out hurt much worse, like Sami Zayn. And 2 he wants an apology because Hideo called him a bad person. Hideo says he's a great champion but he's TERRIBLE HUMAN BEING. KO says if people are gonna blame him for the injury, he might as well do something to deserve it, and Kevin comes down But Finn runs down and attacks Owens before he can make it to the ring. Finn goes for a crossbody off the ramp again, but Rhyno attacks him on the stage and boots him off.

Tonight: Finn/Rhyno II

Kurt's Kid is in the ring, and his tag partner is SYL! HOLY SHIT! SYL IS STILL HERE Enzo and Cass come out they run through all their little catchphrases before Enzo says he's looking at busters in the ring, and he ain't talking about BLOCKBUSTERS! They ain't nothing but a couple of mushrooms in Mario's world, about to get laid flat. Cass says one guy looks like he's in Magic Mike and the other guy's looking for his entourage. He don't see Marky Mark. He sees two big teds, teddy bears.

Jason Jordan & Sylvester LeFort vs. Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady (w/Carmella)
Stuff happens, Enzo and Syl work the entire match, Jason tags in but gets distracted when Enzo throws Syl out so Enzo rolls him up for the win.

After last weeks main event, Joe shouts "LET THEM FIGHT" over and over and says Kevin Owens escaped the fight. He didn't get the beating of a lifetime that he intended to give him. It's real simple he wants Kevin Owens.

Cassie vs. Dana Brook (w/Emma)
Dana showcase she's so bad it's not even funny, I will give her credit, she has her gimmick and character down and it rules but holy shit she was rushed to TV and it hurts her in the long run. Dana wins with the Death Valley Bomb.

Backstage: Devin interviews Charlotte, Charlotte says she doesn't know what Dana's problem is with her and heard what she said. The only door opened for her was an opportunity, but the next opportunity she gets, she'll kick Dana's ass.

Part II of "Who is Finn Balor" airs, Finn IS PLAYING WITH LEGOS!!!! Albert talks about the first time he met Finn in Japan and their friendship, Finn then talks about training in the New Japan dojo, being a youngboy and doing all the chores. He says he spent 8 years in Japan and now considers it his 2nd home. Fine says "Prince Devitt was someone fixated with trying to master the Japanese art" Albert talks about Finn's contract ending and him taking the chance of again leaving his comfort zone to take a chance in the WWE.

Sawyer Fulton & Angelo Dawkins vs. Hype Bros
Showcase for the Bros. Bro.

Backstage: GM Regal is on his phone clearly looking at leaked nudes, cause why else would he be on his phone while a show is going on. Anyway, Eva Marie comes in and says she wants a match. Regal says she can't just come in and use her charm, he needs proof of this.

Kevin Owens comes out for commentary.

Finn Balor vs. Rhyno
Finn looks super awesome here, he's pissed at the sneak attacks so he takes charge early on and goes on the aggressive. Good punches and forearms, Rhyno also looks good in this as he looks like the older guy struggling to keep with the younger guy until he takes over with a nice hard lariat, sadly Rhyno's heat gets overshadowed by KO's awesome trolling on commentary, he rips Saxton for being awful and kills Rich for pretending to always talk to someone in the back, when we all know no one talks to him. It also gets cut show due to the break, so when we return it's Finn mounting a comeback before they go into trading near falls. Kevin Owens comes down, but Balor dropkicks him off the apron. He again blocks the Gore, and now hits the Coup de Grace for the win. **1/2

After the match; KO attacks Finn, Rhyno joins in but JOE MAKES THE SAVE!

FUCK YEAH! MY KIDS ARE HERE! Sadly, tripsgod doesn't have them as his top guys yet and still trying to get the VV losers over. This is solid, VV do their "manly" flashy stuff which goes nowhere until Dash and Dawson get into their bag of cutting off the ring and beating up Gotch. English has a fine tag before hitting Dawson with the Whirling Dervish for the win. UGH! **

Earlier in the week, Devin interviews Becky at the PC. Becky says at Takeover, she sprained her hip flexor, she tried to work through it but it made it worse so has to take a few weeks off. But now she's more motivated than ever and wants that NXT Women's Championship. But with a different ending, and it's the start of N-BEX-T.

Tucker Knight vs. Baron Corbin
Yeah, it's that Tucker, this goes 15 seconds until Corbin hits the End of dayz for the win.

Backstage: Enzo/Cass and the VV are all pleading with Regal for a title match, so he books a #1 Contenders match for next week.

Part III of Who is Finn Balor airs? Finn says creativity inspires creativity, he says he loves inspiring fans who bring him art after the shows. Finn talks about his debut and the reaction he got. He talks about how he came up with his name. Footage airs of him practicing his entrance trips doing the Finn motions is the highlight of this. He then talks about the difference in personalities from when he's Finn to when he becomes the Demon. Finn then talks about getting a title match, but it being in Japan where he grew as a wrestler and doing it in the place that made him is a big deal.

Earlier today, Regal and Sara Del Ray watch Eva Marie practicing before the show.

Emma (w/Dana Brook) vs. Carmella
This is a thing, Mella has improved since she first debuted but she's still not even close to being passable as a wrestler and Emma is okay, she's not really a lead heel yet. She ends up winning with the Emma Lock. *3/4

Backstage: Bull is PISSED that a vending machine stole his money so he goes to throw a chair at it, but Regal stops him. Bull says he just wanted some nuts, but Regal sees the chocolate all over his face and tells him to get a grip over himself.

Backstage: Devin interviews Jason Jordan, Gable comes over with a towel and Jason says now's not the time. Chad says he saw it. He saw those half-wits make him look like a loser. He knows he's not a loser, it's why he's here. But he has to let him do his part. He's here. Ready, willing, and Gable.

Decent Tyler showcase, beauty shot ends it.

In the woman's locker room, Emma and Dana are looking at Sasha's woman's championship when Sasha comes over and ask them what they want, Emma says she's here to try on her title. Dana says they're taking over the division so she's next. Sasha says she's the boss of this division, and she'll take them both on. Emma says it sounds like a challenge, so she might need a partner. Dana says nobody even likes her, and Sasha says she'll find a partner.

Finn Balor & Samoa Joe vs. Rhyno & Kevin Owens
This gets 10 minutes, and it's a blast for 4 people that have major flaws. RHYKO have a solid heat segment on Finn where they beat him up all around the ring to fill time, Rhyno has an awesome delayed vertical suplex spot where he does squats when he has Finn in the air. IDK Why but that shit always pops me. KO does his chinlock city stuff, before doing Cena moves playing up to the geeks in the crowd. Joe's hot tag was a bit of a letdown and seems like it was only here to set up some miscommunication between them. The match breaks down and Rhyno accidentally hits KO with a gore allowing Finn to hit Coup de Grace for the win.I think that was KO's first loss on NXT. **1/4

Dana Brook & Emma vs. Sasha Banks & Charlotte
Nice callback for the BFF's, they even do the taunt. So good for them, this is fine Sasha and Charlotte and clearly miles ahead of the heels in the ring, and it shows Dana is basically kicks and shitty clubbing blows followed by taunts and Emma isn't much outside her signature spots that she really can't do anymore cause she's a heel. So he does a bunch of old Charlotte stuff like the body scissors. Sasha has a nice hot tag and locks in the Bank Statement, at the same time Charlotte locked in the figure eight for the double tap. *3/4

After the match, Charlotte says a deal is a deal and she wants her title match next week. Sasha accepts.

Pretty cool Finn/Owens video package airs, as they show the Tokyo match in full.

So before the match, as they're doing introduction 2 Geisha girl come in and hand both wrestlers flowers, and this happens

NXT Championship: "The Demon" Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens
Finn comes out hot and hits the running dropkick to set up CDG but Owens rolls out, so Finn hits a crossbody to the floor. They have two mishaps really early, IDK if it's nerves or the excitement on Finn's behalf, anyway he settles down once he hits the running dropkick to the rails. Back in, they trade strikes but Owens hits his version of Samoan drop for two, and that gives him the advantage. Owens' weathers Finn's emotional storm and has these nice cutoff spots, it's all seems legit instead of telegraphed and predictable. Chinlock Owens happens so he can talk shit, for a bit. Before he does his Cena stuff again. Owens' keeps going for the FU but, it keeps backfiring and allows Finn to hit a big strike move. They a super fun finishing stretch with both men throwing bombs, and big moves for near falls. Finn hits Coup de Grace but Owens is the first to kick out, Finn is now pissed and gets super aggressive and toes the line on the count to where he could get DQ'ed but the ref doesn't call it. I like they start busting out new stuff, or stuff they've never done in NXT like Owens hitting the Kenton Bomb off the top and even goes for a Swanton Bomb, and Finn hits the Bloody Sunday for a two count. Finn counters the Popup powerbomb, and hits a LARIAT before hitting his finishing sequence and hits a 2nd Coup de Grâce for the win. Good match, and now I can finally add "WORLD" in front of Championship. ***

After the match; WWE Hall of Famer Tatsumi Fujinami comes out to raise Finn's hand, Finn the offers the handshake to Owens but he refuses and leaves.

WWE Exclusive; Owens is sitting on the steps in the back somewhere when a cameraman asks for his reaction to losing the NXT title, so Owens rightfully attacks him.

Backstage: Devin interviews Chad Gable, she asks why Jordan keeps turning him down. Gable says he guesses Jordan doesn't want to become a winner and dominate, he must like being where he is at the bottom. Jordan comes over and says "HE'S IN" next week they will team.

In the production truck, Soloman says he's back and ready to show the universe why he's the resident little monster.

Marcus Louis vs. Solomon Crowe
Not good, Soloman continues to be a bust, IDK how many matches he has left it can't be many. Stretch Muffler ends it.

WWE Exclusive, Finn says winning the NXT championship in Japan, was a dream come true.

SAMI ZAYN'S GIVES US A MEDICAL UPDATE NEXT WEEK!

#1 Contenders Match for the NXT Tag Team Championships: The Vaudevillians vs. Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady (w/Carmella)
This is fine, it gets over 10 minutes which is way too much time for these 4, there at their best when it's 4-6 minutes and they run the simple formula or beat Enzo up for 905 of the match, Cass kill them on the hot tag then go into the finish. But with the extra time, they have to drag it out, and they book it like Enzo is now this competent wrestler for a bit instead of using his speed and awful jabs. VV has a solid heat as Enzo bumps for them, Cass does his usual hot tag before the match breaks down. VV block the Rocket Launcher, and English rolls through Enzo's crossbody into a cover to win. IDK why this main evented, I would have had the title replay over this. *1/2

Steve Cutler & Elias Samson vs. Jason Jordan & Chad Gable
Good showcase for the 2ND BEST TAG TEAM IN NXT HISTORY! You hear that CW number 2 they might not even be that high once I get to 2017/2018. Gable busts out the slick amateur wrestling which brings out the feels, but he gets too cocky with it and it allows the Elias and Not Jay Cutler to do some basic heat stuff, Graves is now shitting on Elias for calling himself a drifter and having cards that says Drifter Jordan never tags in, but they end up hitting the not-yet-named "GRAND AMPLITUDE" for the win.

Eva Marie comes out to the stage. She says she's glad people are excited to see her, and she's so excited to watch the main event tonight. But more importantly, she's here to announce that she'll be making her in-ring debut next week, All Red Everything is coming, baby.

Angelo Dawkins & Sawyer Fulton vs. Blake & Murphy (w/Alexa Bliss)
Decent showcase for the champs, it's pretty clear they've hit their peak as champs and now with my kids healthy, and AA debuting the timer is almost empty. Suplex/Frog Splash finisher end it. after the match; team BBM beat the jobbers down.

Sami Zayn comes out with his arm in a sling, he says he recently had shoulder surgery and this is his first opportunity to tell them he hasn't forgotten about them. People have asked him for updates, so he's here to tell them things have not been good. It's been rough and part of that is that 2014 was the best year of his career. Week in and week out, they did it right here and the year ended with the highest of highs as NXT Champion, and it's a pretty stark contrast because 2015 has been the worst. It looks like it's gonna stay that way because he probably won't be back by the end of the year. But he's not crying for himself here. It's not like he's finished and he still has goals. To find a comfortable position to sleep in, to move his arm past 90 degrees, another goal is to come back and win back his NXT Championship. And there's no better motivator than revenge, right? Kevin might think he's in the rear view now that he's on Raw, but he meant every word he said when he said their careers are linked together. It's been about them for 12 years and that's the way it's gonna stay for the next 12 years. Time is gonna heal this wound, just like all the others, and when it does, HE IS COMING FOR HIM!

Last Week at ComicCon, Regal announces Finn/Owens rematch will take place in Brooklyn at the next TakeOver. Kevin says Finn can go hang out with Sami again and lick their wounds together when he's done. Finn talks about how special Japan was for him, and Kev says he spent a decade rocking the house in New York City on the independents, so this is gonna be really special for him too.

NXT Woman's Championship: Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks
Charlotte comes out super cocky to start, doing lots of flashy rollup and counters trying to throw Sasha off, it doesn't really work or come off really well but Charlotte also uses her length and athletism to her advantage. Sasha takes over with the double knees to the gut in the corner before we go to break. Sasha's control is still one of the best in the NXT as always doing something, trash-talking using more than 1 body part to help hurt e.g. during the straightjacket she uses her legs to kick the back. She also steals Charlotte face fuck hold cause she knows her better than anyone. But she like Charlotte gets too cocky, which allows Charlotte to swing it around into a powerbomb. They have this struggle fight which gets ruined by Charlotte's awful chops but that gives her new life and she mounts a brief comeback before they go back and forth trading near falls. Charlotte locks in the figure four, but Sasha makes it to the ropes so Charlotte rolls it to the floor like having it locked in around the ringpost. Charlotte keeps going for the knee but Sasha has it counted and escapes it, she hits the backstabber into the bank statement but Charlotte rolls it over for a pin, but Sasha pulls it back into the statement which forces Charlotte to tap. Good stuff again. ***

After the match; they do the crying and hug deal. UGH!

NXT WORLD CHAMPION Finn Balor comes down to the ring, he says he's been doing this for 15 years in Europe, Mexico, and Japan. He made hard choices and sacrifices, and one of those decisions was even coming here to NXT. But it was worth it for being able to hold up this. Greg brings up the rematch at Takeover Brooklyn and says there's a contract signing tonight. Finn says in the last six months, Kevin has made a huge impact. He became champion, hurt Neville, injured Sami Zayn and Hideo, and pinned John Cena, but he DIDN'T beat Finn Balor in Tokyo and in the Barclays Center, he'll make history by walking in and straight back out as NXT Champion.

Backstage: Devin is with Eva Marie, she asks what can we and the fans expect from her in her debut match tonight. Eva says she wants to thank Regal for this opportunity, and she's taking this SO seriously because when she came to the WWE this WAS HER DREAM! She says the NXT fans have a misconception about her and the last few months she's worked hard and showcase what she got.

Cassie vs. Eva Marie
Not god awful like I thought it would be, but not good. Royce uses her legs as offense so she hits a ton of different spin kicks to the head and body before Eva goes on control, she works the arm it really goes nowhere given the fact that heer finish is the sliced bread but hey, wrestlers and agents stay booking dumb shit. Eva drops her throat first onto the top rope and hits sliced bread #2 for the win. *12

Backstage: GM Regal is on the phone when he notices Breeze in his office, Tyler says seeing how he's not in the title match Regal must have something bigger for him. Regal says he's working on it.

Backstage: Devin is with Emma & Dana, she tells them that Bayley said the next time she sees Emma she's gonna do more than hug her. Emma laughs at Bayley's "more than hugging" thing and says that's weird. Maybe she'll take her seriously after she broke her little hand. Now, she'll break her childish spirit. Dana says to calm down. Maybe she needs a hug. Emma hugs her and says that clearly solves everything. Makes everything better. Dana then pats Devin on the head as they leave.

Emma (w/Dana Brooke) vs. Bayley
Really good match, it's the best Emma has looked since she turned heel and maybe her best match since the Paige match. She constantly cheats before targetting the hand, also the crowd being behind Bayley the entire time helps, and so does Dana's trash talking from the floor. You know me I'm a sucker for handwork, as you rarely see it. Both get KO'ed on a double clothesline and Dana gets thrown out for cheating right in front of the ref, damn this broad is dumb. Bayley hits the Bayley to Belly suplex 10 seconds later for the win. **1/2

After the match; Bayley says that felt amazing and it's good to be back. But she's back to be the next NXT Women's Champion. But to do that, she has to beat the very very best, and she wants a match with Charlotte.

Backstage: The debuting Dasha is with Charlotte, and asks about the challenge. Charlotte takes a deep breath and says this is more than revolution on Raw. The girls at NXT have finally been given the chance to do on Raw what they've been doing at NXT for the last few years, and if Bayley wants a chance to face her, there's nobody more deserving, but NOBODY wants to take the title to Raw more than her. Dana comes over and says she's had chance after chance to win the title, and now she's on Raw, but she'll probably mess that up too and fail miserably. She's never had the chances Charlotte has. Does she need a famous last name? But she wants that one chance to prove to her and the world that she can beat her. Charlotte says maybe Bayley can wait another week, but she'll make a statement Dana will never forget.

VV Showcase, Rich announces that VV get their title shot next week on NXT. Whirling Dervish wins it. ALSO, FUCK ALL 4 OF THESE GUYS FOR WEARING MATCHING RED AND BLACK.

GM Regal, Owens and Finn all come out for the contract signing. Kev asks Finn how it feels to be the NXT Champion, so Finn smiles and says it's good and Kevin asks how it feels to know he'll defend that in the biggest main event in the history of NXT. Which by the way will be IN BROOKLYN. Orlando losers BOOOOOO as they know their run is pretty much coming to an end Kevin then asks how it feels to still be the underdog. Because all the things he said he did, he's dead on. He did do all those things. He won that title in two months. In two months, Finn wasn't doing that. He DID cripple Sami Zayn more than once. He DID send Neville out of NXT, he DID beat Cesaro, dropped Rusev on his head, and he certainly did beat John Cena. That's just six months. In Brooklyn, he'll show him and all these idiots that Japan was a fluke when he becomes the first ever two-time NXT Champion and takes him out for good. Finn says he's heard it all before. Kev likes to talk, but he's going to shove his words down his throat. They both sign but Owens throws the contract at him and flips the table on him, Regal tries to stop it but Owens decks him down allowing Finn to fight him off. Owens bails to the back to end the show.
