To an extent, yes. There are alot of parts to society today where TV-14 is not only accepted but encouraged (see Shore, Jersey), but talking about death, injury, stuff like that the world doesn't fly nearly as well today as it used to. (see concussions in the NFL)

As a wrestling fan, Punk and Heyman mocking the heart attack was good heel tactics imo, and surely Lawler was okay with it (he okay'd Cole's comment about his mom), but the main issue I saw with it was some dick filming a dead Lawler on the stretcher. That's not risky television, that's just wrong.

Yeah this did strike me as odd, but I didn't really care about it enough to verbally complain. I'm sure they wouldn't have released that footage should Lawler have died.

That's WWE for ya..

Going over the top with things, taking it to the extreme.

Heart attacks are bad. And WWE just showed it to everyone how it went down, because they once again used WWE Logic in this one as well.

It was plain wrong, I agree. But that's just how WWE handles things.

I honestly think the first reason they had the camera on was for insurance reasons, so that they could prove that they did try to save Jerry's life in case his family wanted to take it to court. The fact that they then used it in an angle is apparently to blame Michael Hayes for. Heyman apparently wanted to make the segment more classy but Hayes fought to have it his way.

Although I agree on the fact that they would tape it for insurance reasons, having that doesn't give WWE the right to present the footage on their shows. Imo, it's private and could harm young fans.

Pretty much every action movie has a scene where someone is being saved by someone, so I don't think for a second it could harm fans. They wouldn't have shown it if he died, and they were showing it to show the severity of the situation and how well King has done to overcome it - as well as the people who helped him backstage - so I don't really see the BIG issue with it, but I do think it's pretty classless to air it on TV.

I think I'm the only one who didn't mind at all when they showed Lawler receiving CPR and stuff backstage.

I don't think it harmed my daughter when she saw the footage and it lead to a discussion about how lucky Jerry was to be alive.
I personally squirmed during that segment and thought it was in bad taste. But it did give Punk and Heyman some grade A heat and it was okay with Jerry and it is classic wwe way of dealing with things

I didn't express myself correctly, you said you found it a bit classless, while I don't at all.

Well it's certainly not classy. Showing someone dead (practically) on a stretcher type thing receiving CPR. It's more the thought of some camera man there filming his co-employee dead on a stretcher that seems a bit classless for me. But I have no issue with them airing it.

Yeah, I see your point. But it's just that at the moment it happened nothing like that came to mind.

Hmmmm.......this is almost too easy. And that's without pointing out that "inbred" is misspelled. Maybe if you'd stop cussing and screwing Cousin Susie so much, and put down the Bud Light with the Jack Daniels chaser while you're watching reruns of Jackass and Beavis and Butthead, you could learn how to spell. But maybe Auntie-Mama and Uncle-Papa didn't teach you right.

OK...Before this becomes some feud, stop and refrain from involving my freaking family.

Just because you're butthurt over a comment I made doesn't afford you the right to make personal accusations you know nothing about

I could blast easily, but for insulting my family and integrity I won't bother. You're an arrogant piece of crap.
