Yesterday we posted a quote from the blog of former WWE writer John Piermarini. Since that post, all of his blog postings have been removed. Here's what he wrote about where Christian stands in WWE:

"As much as it seems Christian turns into the fan favorite choice to win Money in the Bank Match each year it’s not going to happen. Christian is seen as a good hand that can help some of the younger talent and does not have a lot of support from higher ups to be a Main Event guy. Edge vs. Christian as a Main Event program has been pitched to death and rejected every time."

"Before Christian was injured a story was being developed to turn Christian heel and work a program with Matt Hardy. The seeds were being dropped on Smackdown at the time Christian was injured."
That is a real shame if that remains the case.

Christian should have proved he had what it takes to carry on as a Main Eventer in TNA. Even if its a different company, working is working, and he was good as a heel and a face.

He already did that. He pretty did what he probably set out to do in TNA and plus TNA was really just a extended vacation to him as it seemed like he always had intentions of going back to WWE in interviews he did.

Being a main eventer in TNA doesn't seem to make a difference in Vince's eyes. It's frustrating though because Christian has all the capabilities of a future WWE/WHC Champion, but it doesn't matter if the fans can see it. I'll still hold out on a slim bit of hope that one day Vince will give the ball to Christian and let him run with it.

- Lowest drawing ECW champ of all time
- Took years and countless big name stars to get him over
- Jumped ship and left SD with a void when they needed anyone to step up

Christian is a certified midcarder and fucked himself out of his best chance to win the WHC by leaving for TNA.
