Let me just say, he doesn't really deserve a good reaction after that one-sided match with Del Rio that he spent for the most part on the mat doing absolutely nothing and still looking gassed.

I feel insanely bad for him as it's "we don't want to see you" heat, but it isn't like he doesn't currently deserve it.

Iono I thought ADR was a good enough opponent to constitute being a good match. ADR is a BEAST! Truthfully I really don't think Batista needed an opponent any better than ADR to be his first real singles match on the road to WM, he should've been able to put on a show with him.

Unfortunately, Batista has never been the best worker and, right now, he's under a microscope because of the controversy surrounding his return. His lack of in-ring capability (despite ADR selling all Five Moves (or Three Moves, in Batista's case), really showed.

Batista would get over if he had a good match, and really put out. I'm talking a physical exchange, and some risky maneuvers that would get the crowd chanting "holy shit." He has to win back the fan base. He's not Brock, or the rock, so it's going to take some time. They really put him in a tough spot.
Batista wanted to come back. He knew he would headline Mania. He put himself in a tough spot, too. I don't think it's just WWE's fault. I truly believe Batista is dumb enough to think that the fans would accept him winning the RR and looking like something from a horror movie.
I do agree that if he did do something risky and daring, he would win over the fans more. Maybe spear Orton through the barrier? Attempt a moonsault and land on his head? Similar to Brock at Mania 19?

lol I can see it now. Batista just attempted a moonsault....JR commentary, "wth, Batista's head just popped like a pimple on the backside of Vincent Kennedy Mchman's ass...."
Lmfao, yeah Batista looks like he is missing some of that power/aggression that he used to have. Looks like a robot in the ring to me.

Exactly. I know he's been doing the Jiu Jitsu training with the Gracie's and he lost a ton of weight, but man, he looks like shit. He's not the kind of guy that can roid for years, get huge, and look intimidating, then come back leaner. He looks too saggy and seems like he's filled with water.
