Haha well said, if they didn't appreciate him not being over before I'm sure the situation became a whole mess load different after EC, freaking Bootista lol they were madddd booing him.
The "answer"? Probably not. But it would be much better with a triple-threat, since Lesnar can ragdoll Orton while Batista takes a nap on the outside. This clearly has to be a multiman match just so Batista can do as little as possible. They seriously need to do something to fix their Mania main event.
And I know I'm gonna get crap for this (because BOOORRRRKKKKK), but just adding Lesnar to it or replacing Orton with Lesnar is not the answer.

And I actually like Batista... I'm part of that 5% demographic. In my opinion, he put on some damn good matches but he really needs to start wrestling on Raw & Smackdown. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have got boo'd as bad if he wrestled every monday against a midcarder like: Batista vs. Brodus Clay, Batista vs. Sandow, Batista vs. Fandango, Batista vs. 3MB.
I'm pretty sure the more matches he gets into the less the crowd chants are gonna be. He should've had a match on Raw between Rumble & EC. He's becoming a full time superstar and WWE needs to start treating him like one and stop letting him slack. He is wrestling at house shows yet he's not wrestling on Raw :idk:
Of course it would have been much easier for Batista if he came back during a dead period. I think WWE was thinking that their ratings would sky rocket and help with the WWE Network. It obviously failed them and I can't imagine how Tista's self confidence right now. It's like X-Pac heat in a way.... but not at the same time.Lets play the "What if" game... What if he come back in good ring shape during the Summer of 2012? Right now there's a lot to get excited about talent-wise. We all want Bryan as the top dog while Reigns and Wyatt become stars of the future and Cesaro cements himself as one for today, and it's easy to perceive Batista as just getting in the way... what if he came back during a dead period without him overshadowing this youth movement?
But, yeah..... I want Batista to have feuds with mid-carders... even though he is in fact a Main Event Player.
It never is.All I have to say is the way WM's card looking it wont be so grand :<
I agree with you. In the same breath, however, I don't think him having 4 years off made any difference at all. I feel that Bootista could've taken 1 year off and he still would've been booed just as bad. The issue is the fact that it's Batista (which people are bored with unless he's heel; in addition, he's just not that popular), he came back when other talent is peaking, and he returned shortly after The Rock just made an impact. All in all, Batista just sucks. He walks in after we had the Rock in 2013 and expects to receive a similar crowd response? Are you kidding me?I don't think the company can blame the fans for this one.. even if Batista had been a surprise at the rumble, they still would've been pissed at him immediate given the headling match at Wrestlemania after having 4 years off.
Batista would get over if he had a good match, and really put out. I'm talking a physical exchange, and some risky maneuvers that would get the crowd chanting "holy shit." He has to win back the fan base. He's not Brock, or the rock, so it's going to take some time. They really put him in a tough spot.
