To be fair, NXT probably doesn’t make a profit with Vince running it either. So you can’t go off how NXT did, to judge how WWE would do. Just isn’t even comparable.

The casual fan wasn’t gonna go to NXT live events. But to act like WWE would stop making the billions it does now if the booking at least entertained the iwc crowd is silly.

The WWE machine with the deals it has with USA and Fox and Saudi Arabia with NXT booking for the hardcore fans wouldn’t make any less, but it might increase a few Peacock subscriptions. Those are the people more likely to buy internet streaming for pro wrestling and whatnot.

I also don’t think it would go full NXT, either. Stephanie was in charge of creative during the Ruthless Aggression Era during Johnny Ace’s first stint so I’d see her and Trip’s WWE like a hydra of NXT, NXT 2.0 and 2005 WWE.

To be fair, NXT probably doesn’t make a profit with Vince running it either. So you can’t go off how NXT did, to judge how WWE would do. Just isn’t even comparable.

I doubt NXT makes much, especially since it only starting touring again last week.

I'm just saying all the praise Triple H got for NXT is just based on what people see on TV, not what it did for the bottom line....something that is more important to WWE or any company in any business environment.

WWE tried to promote that third brand stuff, but it was always developmental. It was always the brand pipeline for the PC and the newly hired people off the indies before WWE decided they wanted them on the main.
