Literally I don't think any talent makes less than 100k. They probably saved 20 million with all the talent they cut. I don't think that was done to offset a 100k raise lol

I think quite a bit of the developmental talent weren't making 100k and that was a big volume of the budget cuts lol I doubt most lower carders were making that much higher either

I actually found this on a Google, out of date now obviously but it says $250k is the normal standard salary for talent...except curt Hawkins:lol

Lowest Paid Wrestler: Who is the lowest-paid wrestler?

With an annual salary of $200,000, Curt Hawkins is the lowest-paid WWE wrestler. While the majority of wrestlers who earn a base salary of $250,000 are female wrestlers, Kurt Hawkins is the only exception.

If that was true, then cutting one wrestler would have covered the raise then lol

Yeah I don't really have faith in the company without him either, it'll survive but if we think it's full on corporate now just wait til Disney or NBC owns it with Nick Khan running lmao

I would have bet my life on Stephanie and Triple H making it better only a couple of years ago, but now that they might not be in the running to inherit it, who knows.

Yeah... Triple H's NXT was the best thing they've done in the last 10 years imo but it seems like that's gone the way and now Hunter and Steph are barely involved

I still can’t wait on the bombshell announcement of Nick and Tony being cousins, and Nick was sent to tear it down from the inside. The biggest Khan in wrestling.

LOL people here actually pretending the mass layoffs were because of this?

Don't be insulting, some people might actually believe you.
Must be nice being rich.

Never made a profit.

NXT's praise never meant that brand ever made a net profit.....you can look at the quarterly reports from the years Triple H was in charge of it and see for yourself.

Don’t think any one said anything of the sorts. It’s just an interesting little tidbit that around the same time the cuts happened, this was also going down. That’s it.
