WWE has the largest history of vile shit going on behind the scenes, is the larger overall point.

However, I think it should be noted that things didn't get really dirty in the whole industry until the 1980s. There's plenty of stories of guys beating the shit out of folks in the 60s and 70s, but certainly not some of the heinous shit that was purported while drugs became a huge thing in the industry by 1984.

Nevertheless, I wouldn't say the whole of the industry is dirty. There was definitely a lot of seedy shit that was rampant in the 80s and 90s, but WWE was primarily involved when it happened.

I'm not but it's irrelevant, this is about WWE and their wrong doings. You bringing it up makes it sound like "well everyone was doing it" which takes attention away from wwe's transgression. I don't think it's intentional on your behalf but to me it comes off as handwaving it as "well it was the times/industry". Wwe was the world leader in the industry and using that power to groom young men and women into sexual playthings. That was not an industry standard by any means, even I bad shit happened to a lot of people. It's like when you asked why that girl's friend brought it up years later. It gives the impression that your indirectly running damage control by instantly trying yo dismiss a witness. Again really don't think there's any intention to do so on your part, but I find it a bit irritating i guess
