During a recent interview conducted for BetweenTheRopes.com, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan talks about his match against Sheamus at WrestleMania 28, the ‘yes’ chant and an idea for it at the show, being on this stage at this point in his career and more. You can check out the full interview below:

Daniel Bryan seems like a pretty cool and nice guy in person but I've heard that a lot before anyway. I didn't know that's where the chant came from either and I can't wait to see what he is wearing at mania now also.

Watched the interview before I went to bed, along with a few others. I thought it was good of him to reveal how he came up with the :YES!: chant

This was a really cool interview. I really regret not meeting him in October when he was here. I always respected Bryan in the ring but I wasn't a complete mark for him because of my so-so knowledge of the indies. He's obviously an elite worker and always enjoyed him in the ring, but this heel turn has just put him on a whole new level. I've been telling people this reminds me of Punk in 2009. Punk was in the same boat as Bryan except Punk had some cool promos on ECW but never fully shined on the mic like he did in the ring. When they made him a heel, that's when greatness happened.

Seems like an awesome guy and just the type to sit around and shoot the shit with, especially after seeing his personality shine through in The Wrestling Road Diaries.

It is nice to see a heel talk normally in an interview. Really enjoyable interview to watch and he does seem like a guy that would be happy to talk with anyone and doesn't have a massive ego.
