The Invasion was shit but this was nice

The Invasion didn't live up on the promise of WCW vs WWF, but the angles told within what they had to work with were top notch. 2001 is probably my all-time favorite WWF year.

The Invasion angle produced some amazing matches and shows when watched in a vacuum though, it's just overall it was disappointing

And this was quite the show to end a banner year with.

But I don't think we'd be disappointed with any 01 PPV being chosen for this

I don't get disappointed because I know not to expect Nash, Hogan, Flair etc, but everything told with who they had was amazing. All the PPVs are top notch like Chris says, and the weekly TVs are fucking nuts. They had 13 some odd belts and a million titles matches a week. The C shows even had excellent match because of how blaoted the roster was.

The only thing I'd do better if I had the book was use the WCW you DID buy more.

Kanyon and the Thrillers all but disappeared by September.

Vince sent half of them to developmental in the middle of the angle.
