The Alliance is dead, and with their death, there are some small matters that must be sorted out in the World Wrestling Federation. Most notably, the two World Titles that now exist within the company must be unified to create one Undisputed Champion! Newly minted equal partners Vince McMahon and Ric Flair have devised a four man tournament to take place at Vengeance to determine the Undisputed Champion of the WWF. World Heavyweight Champion The Rock will defend his belt against Chris Jericho, while Stone Cold Steve Austin puts his WWF Championship on the line against Kurt Angle, with the winners of these respective matches meeting in a Finals to decide who will take home both titles! Featured bouts on the undercard include Rob Van Dam vs. The Undertaker for the Hardcore Championship, The Dudley Boyz vs. Big Show and Kane for the World Tag Team Championship, and William Regal challenging for Edge's Intercontinental Championship! It's like them missing piece of the backstory you learn late into a movie.

I feel the same way about when Flair's eyes light up like Vince is a genius when he suggests the two title defenses before the unification.

It's just a great example of what these tow could have accomplished if they didn't immediately start to fight in 2002.
