F4WOnline said:Some people are expecting that Val Venis’ character may be some sort of political spoof, although that isn’t confirmed.
In terms of news from WWE internally, many feel that due to injuries, the company felt that a veteran performer was needed to work upcoming European dates.
Incidentally both RAW and SmackDown crews will fly out to Europe after finishing with this week’s tapings.
I am slightly surprised by this move. I liked Val Venis and thought he had a role to play as a veteran to work with the youngsters helping them get over and help refine their skills. I was surprised when he was let go from WWE since it was really only him and Finlay playing that role. Still I didn't expect WWE to bring him back. Will be interesting to see how they reintroduce him, that is if he infact makes it back onto television.
