Okay everyone, this is my second attempt at a Power 25 esque ranking for UWF except this time it's for each individual brand. Hopefully this rectifies the problem if one show is late or ends up having more shows than another brand, the individuals on that brand won't suffer in the rankings. The rankings will be kayfabe based so it all depends on how well your character does on a week to week basis. If you don't have a match and you don't have a promo, you're bound to fall off. This first rankings set was based on the impact your characters have made in the past month leading up to Bound For Glory. I had expected to put this up Monday but got caught up. I might add pictures to later installment to make it pretty. Anyways here's your first UWF Top 10.
UWF Top 10
RAW
1.Kurt Angle
The Olympic Gold Medalist and now UWF King of the Ring is coming off a big win from said tournament and is now the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. With The Corporation backing him, it looks like it’s only a matter of time before he becomes the new World Heavyweight Champion.
2.John Cena
The European Champion has had a great month and it doesn’t look to be stopping anytime soon. He along with Batista managed to take control of RAW away from Randy Orton and gain it for The Corporation. Can anyone stop The Corporation?
3.Batista
Rounding out the top 3 is yet another member of The Corporation. He along with John Cena defeated The Miz and Stone Cold Steve Austin to earn the control of RAW for his team. If anyone is going to stop them, they’ll have to do the impossible and get through him first.
4.Beer Money
The returning team has reignited the Tag Team Division and after weeks of tough competition, they managed to capture the UWF Tag Team Championships from Ted Dibiase and Wade Barrett. The only question going through their mind is, who will be the next challengers to step up?
5.Daniel Bryan
After putting up a hellacious match against AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan ultimately fell and lost his World Heavyweight Championship. So what’s next for Daniel Bryan? A rematch? Taking it to the Corporation? We’ll find out on RAW.
6.Dean Ambrose
After one of the most brutal matches in UWF history, Dean Ambrose managed to defeat The Corporation’s Cody Rhodes albeit in a controversial manner when his father Dusty quit for him. Where does Dean Ambrose go from here? One thing’s for sure, he won’t stop until The Corporation is no more.
7.Snakebite Syndicate
Between their run ins with 3LK, DDP's King of the Ring stint and Stone Cold getting attacked by the Corporation, this group has had a lot of ups and downs. After Steve Austin failed to win control of RAW with The Miz, He is looking to take all his frustrations out against Stephanie's hand picked opponent, Umaga. Can the rattlesnake give off a deadly strike?
8.Umaga
The Samoan Bulldozer hasn’t had a great month. It started with The Establishment’s debut but at Bound For Glory, Umaga did what many thought he couldn’t and that was beat The Big Show to retain his Extreme Championship. With Umaga now being a member of both RAW and Anarchy, we can expect to see multiple forces try and stop the bulldozer.
9.Cody Rhodes
Cody was the only member of The Corporation to fail at Bound For Glory when he lost in an I Quit Match to Dean Ambrose. Cody never uttered the words so we can be sure he is very unhappy with losing the match. With The Corporation now running RAW, it isn’t hard to guess that Cody may be looking for revenge. Revenge that he may take out on anybody.
10.Tyson Kidd
The Crown Prince has had one of the fastest rises in UWF history but after losing in the Anarchy Finals in the King of the Ring tournament, he was kicked out of The Establishment. Now a new member of the RAW roster, Tyson is looking to climb back up the ranks and prove he belongs with the best.
Smackdown
1.Edge
At the beginning of the month, Edge surprised everyone when he cashed in his Money in the Bank and became the new UWF Champion. Since then, he prepared for weeks to fight against CM Punk only to find out he would instead be fighting Kevin Nash at Bound For Glory. Despite the switchup, Edge managed to retain his UWF Championship. Now he turns his attention to the man who beat him two weeks ago, Triple H.
2.HHH
The COO of UWF along with Kevin Nash have been making big waves on Smackdown. Not only did HHH manage to beat the current reigning UWF Champion Edge, but he also beat Damien Sandow, Enzo Amore and D'Von to become the new number one contender. It seems like nothing can stop the Cerebral Assassin but you can be sure Edge will do whatever it takes to get the job done.
3.D’Von
Smackdown's King of the Ring winner had a great month but after two big back to back losses in the finals of the King of the Ring as well as the Fatal Four Way number one contenders match, D'von needs to bounce back soon and he'll have that chance when he goes one on one with Damien Sandow this week.
4.Enzo Amore
Since debuting, Enzo has been thrust into the spotlight and has proved he has what it takes to stay there. Not many people can say they debuted at a PPV but the realest guy in the room did but still came up short at Bound For Glory. So what's next for Enzo? The man is never short of words so you can bet we'll find out soon.
5.Fandango
The former International Champion hasn’t had a great week. After losing in a 6 man tag on Anarchy followed by losing his International Championship at Bound For Glory, Fandango seems even more worried about the damage done to his face. Can the Anarchy standout find an equal amount of success on Smackdown?
6.Sandow
The intellectual savior of the masses had an opportunity to become the UWF Champion at Bound For Glory but came up short. Sandow however is rarely without a plan and you can bet we'll soon find out what he has in store for Smackdown.
7.Nash
Nash and Triple H have been having numerous problems with Zack Ryder and his personal attack squad, Damien Sandow and Enzo Amore but despite the constant interference, Nash was inserted into the UWF Championship at Bound For Glory but he wasn't able to pick up the win due to Enzo Amore. You can bet that this won't be the end of this bitter feud.
8.Kennedy
After countless weeks of mind games the always brash Ken Kennedy managed to overcome the tough obstacle that is Eddie Guerrero at Bound For Glory proving just how hardcore he can be. So what's next for the Hardcore Champion? Only he can tell and you'd better believe he will make time to tell.
9.Sting
After debuting on Impact's first show, Sting found himself teaming with the returning Ultimate Warrior to form the Facepaint Brigade. Although they failed to win the tag team tournament, they found themselves in a rivalry with Muhammed Hassan and his lawyer, David Otunga. The two clashed at Bound For Glory but Sting came up short. Now back on Smackdown, can The Stinger find some much needed momentum?
10.Undertaker
The Dead Man has been involved in a bitter feud with Chris Jericho and Vampiro but at Bound For Glory, he managed to do what he promised and left them laying in pieces to win the United States Championship. Now he turns his attention to the men who attacked him last week on Smackdown, Eric Bischoff's Three Minute Warning.
Impact
1.AJ Styles
AJ must feel on top of the world after winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Bound For Glory in an instant classic despite Stephanie McMahon thinking he was not championship material. Now AJ finds himself on the top of Impact as well as RAW. Will we see AJ try and hold on to two world championships? Only time will tell.
2.Khali
The Global Champion managed to retain his title at Bound For Glory after the match was stopped due to the ring collapsing. Despite not winning in a traditional way, Khali managed to win and already retain his belt twice this month earning him the number two position.
3.Kane
Kane unsuccessfully challenged The Great Khali for the Global Championship after the match was stopped due to Kane chokeslaming the champion from the top rope and causing the ring to collapse. Kane, furious over his unfair loss looks to make up for it by taking out the new World Heavyweight Champion, AJ Styles.
4.Mexicools
The Mexicools have been on a roll. After a month of taking out wrestlers and winning week after week, Juventud managed to become the first Intercontinental Champion in a Ladder Match against Christian at Bound For Glory. The Mexicools however are never satisfied and Juventud vows they will continue to destroy UWF from the inside out.
5.Austin Aries
A Double suffered a very unfortunate loss in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament. After a very successful month, he rounds out the top half as a vicitm of circumstance. So what’s next for The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived? He’ll let everyone know this Saturday on Impact.
6.Eddie Guerrero
After weeks of mind games against Mr. Kennedy, Eddie Guerrero finally got his chance to take the Hardcore title but ultimately came up short. Now Eddie finds himself on UWF’s newest brand. Can the veteran make a big splash?
7.Muhammed Hassan
Hassan teamed up with David Otunga at Bound For Glory and came out victorious against the Facepaint Brigade, Ultimate Warrior and Sting with a little help from Jack Swagger. With the two unlikely teammates joining forces, one can only guess what they have in store for the rest of the Impact roster.
8.Brock Lesner
The Beast has been on a rampage lately and his first casualty was the man known as Manik. After beating Chris Sabin at Bound For Glory, Lesner managed to break Manik’s neck. Lesner looks to rampage through the Impact roster and so far he’s off to a good start.
9.ReDRagon
One of the newest tag teams to emerge in the resurgence of tag team wrestling, reDRagon managed to pin the then Tag Team Champions, Ted Dibiase and Wade Barrett. Even though they are on a different brand, they are looking to send a message to Beer Money
10.Christian
Christian has had a very off and on month. After losing in the debut match on Impact, he picked up a win in the Intercontinental Championship tournament but lost at Bound For Glory against Juventud due to constant interference from The Mexicools. This week he has another opportunity to become champion in a fatal four way for the Commonwealth Championship.
Anarchy
1.Seth Rollins
Russo’s former protégé has stepped out on his own and screwed Russo when he became the new International Champion after cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase and beating Homicide. You can bet Russo won’t take this lightly but Seth has made it apparent that he is more than ready for whatever Russo throws at him.
2.Alex Riley & Matt Morgan
After dominating the Tag Team Tournament as well as the King of the Ring, Paul Heyman’s newest clients came up short in both tournaments but Matt Morgan continued to make an impact after he defeated Jeff Hardy at Bound For Glory. You can be sure that Heyman isn’t yet satisfied and won’t stop until they reach the top.
3.Homicide
The notorious 187 actually managed to beat Fandango and become the new International Champion. That reign however was short lived as Homicide would be cashed in on courtesy of Seth Rollins and Homicide is none too happy. This week he looks to regain his focus as he teams up with the rest of The Establishment
4.Chris Masters
The masterpiece was the only member of The Establishment to walk out of Bound For Glory a champion as he became the new Ironman Champion. Russo seems more than pleased in him and looks to get the rest of The Establish on par as they have a big 8 man tag team match this week.
5.David Otunga
For the past month, Otunga has been pairing up with Muhammed Hassan both in court and in the ring and together they managed to beat the Facepaint Warriors at Bound For Glory. After having a great month, Brotunga looks to make an impact on their newest home, Anarchy.
6.Jeff Hardy
The Charismatic Enigma had a great month. After coming in second in the Global Championship battle royal, Jeff Hardy went far in the King of the Ring tournament but lost in the finals and then loss once again at Bound For Glory against Matt Morgan. Hardy however is looking to bounce back this week when he goes one on one with Rob Van Dam
7.Dolph Ziggler
After the showoff put on quite a show in recent outings, he ultimately fell and lost his Ironman Championship at Bound For Glory against The Establishment’s Chris Masters. Can Ziggler manage to bounce back by defeating the former World Heavyweight Champion?
8.Big Show
The giant enforcer of The Establishment failed to become the new Extreme Champion at Bound For Glory against Umaga but that doesn’t mean Russo has lost any faith in the big man. He’ll be looking to bounce back when he teams with the rest of The Establishment in an 8 man tag team match on Anarchy.
9.HBK
The former World Heavyweight Champion hasn’t had a match in awhile and after refusing to help Randy Orton fight The Corporation on RAW, no one really knows what Michael’s allegiance will be on Anarchy. Will he allow The Establishment to run roughshot or will he stand up to them? Is he even in the right frame of mind? We’ll find out when he goes up against Dolph Ziggler.
10.3LK
The Three Live Kru hasn't had the best of luck recently with getting knocked out of the Tag Team Tournament and being at the mercy of the Snakebite Syndicate but that hasn't stopped them from constantly being a big part of RAW and now that they are on Anarchy, no one will be safe from their shenanigans.
