15 years ago? Nah not at all. You really need to watch mind games with HBK vs Mankind which is one of his greatest matches that wasn't even a gimmick match. Was way quicker in the ring then as opposed to now. He was better in the ring than he was given credit for back then.

I have watched that match and it was great but besides that match, back in the late 90's, early 2000's he was about the same shape as he is now. It's just how much he works I guess. I mean he has been up and down throughout his career.

I don't think there is any chance he could have another Street Fight like he had with Triple H in 2000.

And it showed guy was on point for that match. Now he isn't even the same shape he was in several years back when he faced Orton and had a classic match or even his match with Edge at mania in 06 that was great. Maybe going back to WWE will motivate him enough but idk.

Yeah, that match was awesome but it's like half of what that Street Fight was.

Did you see his match on Impact with Flair?
Wasn't a fan of anything he did in TNA in ring wise personally. Was his best match there but still was just fine to me not great.

To be fair though the promo they cut to set up that match was better. I also enjoyed Foley having to take etiquette classes last year. It was pretty funny.

I also like the fact that Flair never kissed Foley's ass which was supposed to be a stipulation for the match.

Mick Foley Wrestling At WrestleMania 28?

There have been talks within the WWE office about possibly bringing Mick Foley back for a major match at WrestleMania 28 next year. When Foley was granted his release from TNA, part of the agreement was that he could not appear on WWE TV until his contract would have expired, which is in September.

I guess it would all depend on who his opponent is really and their carrying ability. I'm sure if it was some sort of stipulation hardcore match then he would be fine.

Haha. They could make it some kind of hardcore match so he doesn't have to do much actual wrestling, sort of like they did with The Undertaker and Triple H at WrestleMania.

Just merged the two threads.

The only thing that gives Foley more hope in WWE than TNA is the fact that in WWE they have more guys who can carry Foley if need be. Punk, Bryan, HHH if he ever did one more match, Cena, Orton maybe. In TNA all their vets need to be carried nowadays or aren't good enough to carry outside a few.

Thanks i never even thought to post that article on this thread when i orignally posted it.

And i'd love for a Punk/Foley match wether it be a hardcore match, or a normal wrestling match.
