I’m not going to disagree.

But Nexus winning at Summerslam would’ve gone a long way. Also WWE not snatching MITB from him the night before
Otunga, Tarver, Skip Sheffield and Darren Young having wins over guys with over 100s of titles behind them would've been dumb.

Who besides Bryan actually amounted to anything from that group?

Bro…

Not even you believe this.

Literally John Cena himself said this was bad.

They didn’t become stars because they got buried in their first big match. I’m not gonna sit here and say they would’ve become big stars. But losing that match killed any momentum that they had. And Cena did it.

WWE tried to make it right the next night by having another 7 on 7 tag with Nexus going over but the damage was done

Nexus were mainly jobbers, I never thought they should've even been pushed like that......them beating up Vince was a joke.

Barrett and Bryan were the only ones worth pushing the rest were goobers.

Very easy to say after the fact. People saw plenty in Gabriel and Sheffield at the time. Every faction of that size only has two or three real standouts. Doesn't mean you should write them off before they start.

They had to win and dominate their first few months and then the sky was the limit. They were dead on arrival once they lost that match.

Not just losing the match, but the way they lost really did most of the damage in people's minds it seems.

John Cena is great…

John Cena buried the Nexus…

Two things can be true at the same time.

Since we just circling the wagon......Bret Hart was screwed in Montreal.

Booker T shouldn't have beat Triple H at WM 19.

Sting needed a tan brother.

Well Ryback was arguably the most successful out of the group other than Daniel Bryan.

But as for Cena I’m fairly confident he’ll be at Mania and I definitely think he should put Theory over.

Bret Hart? You’re kidding right. That man had NO business being in the ring at that point :lol

It’s weird to type out but I think long term, Heath Slater has been probably more successful than Ryback, I would say.

Ryback has nothing to do with "yip yip yip" Skip Sheffield.
