Hard disagree about the bodies on the line part, not sure how you came to that conclusion.
Imma just leave it like this The Undertaker and Triple H are the last of their kind.

They're basically Knights of the 90s in a world where Knights don't exist anymore at all.

Once they are completely retired the last of the Attitude Era is completely gone from Wrestling

Well yeah but I don't see what any of that has to do with what I quoted you on but you do you.

Lmao yeah wrestlers should be tougher nowadays and die at 40. Fuck outta here with that bullshit. I’m so happy that WWE’s locker room is clean nowadays and the wrestlers can live relatively normal lives outside the ring.

The new generation were raised playing video games which has pussyfied them. Just look at Keith Lee. The man is a massive beast of a man but he has the personality of a little weed.

Very few wrestlers are actually intimidating and scary these days. Not to say they aren't as tough and talented but the way they conduct themselves isn't the same. Probably because kayfabe is dead so there is no expectation to portray an legitimate image

I dunno about you guys, but I'd rather have a bunch of guys playing video games, smoking pot, and just not being a bother to anyone rather than going out, getting absolutely splashed in bars, getting arrested, doing cocaine and crack, steroids, possibly fucking underage girls (wrestlers are not the brightest bunch), and dying before the age of 50.

Maybe that's too much to ask?

Yeah exactly. It’s hilarious how people think wrestlers are soft nowadays because they’re not doing steroids and coke after every match and dying in their 30s and 40s

I think one of Taker’s points is that a lot of wrestlers today don’t come across like tough guys. Back in his era, dudes had no problem defending themselves or the business. Don’t think you’re going to see that with the current group of top guys cause they play it like a joke almost.

25-30 years ago, you’re not trying Taker or Meng or Haku on the street.

I think his point is how many legit bad asses do you think are left? If Kenny Omega, Adam Page, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, etc run up on you on the street…are you intimidated

Counterpoint:

Why should anybody care whether someone looks intimidating or not when everyone already knows the ins and outs of the business? Being "intimidating" doesn't move the needle anymore, and hasn't for like 15 years.

Any of those guys still have better bodies than 99% of America lmao. So you’re saying if wrestlers are not super tall and heavy they shouldn’t be wrestlers

Both fair points and I’m not saying I agree with him. I’m trying to understand his thought process just like everyone else

They won't be productive if they smoke pot. Only a small amount of people are productive on pot.

I prefer if they were out being rock stars because rock stars are entertaining

What's the point of watching wrestling if you aren't suspending your disbelief even a little?

They're still doing drugs, getting arrested etc. A few even have went after a few children here and there (Dream). Not being a bother? I guess all of these sexual misconduct things occurred recently must have slipped everyone's minds. Seems to happen a lot on here. Yeah, let's not talk about that now because we have to defend them.

This is the part I have a problem with here too. Plenty of ppl in wwe alone go balls out n constantly injured. They do more physically demanding and athletic move sets that can cause brutal injuries too.
