I wanted to get this up to discuss this solid free card we have coming up next week.

First off we have Diego Sanchez vs. Martin Kampmann. Solid matchup at WW couldn't of asked for a better one between the two. Both men easily hold advantages over the other. Diego has the better wrestling and Martin has the better striker. We saw in the Jake Shields fight that Kampmann got taken down but Jake Shields took him down, a very strong wrestler. But, Shields was sort of gassed in that fight so he got Martin on his back not with full strength. I'm sure Martin is working on his TDD nowadays to prevent Diego from taking him down. But Diego Sanchez is a crazy fighter. We all saw him take down Paulo Thiago with ease just fully out of anger. I think Diego will try to take Martin down but Martin will try to keep the distance and when they get into flurries will try to capitilaze. I say this will be a close fight.

CB Dollaway vs. Mark Munoz is a good fight if you ask me. I think Munoz is underrated though and I think he beat the #1 contender Yushin Okami. Kind of a downgraded fight for Mark and upgraded for CB. CB is on a streak though, so I'm sure he wants to perform well in this fight to get someone like possibly Chris Leben. I think both men will try to find takedowns when they can but overall I'm expecting a good fight.

Sakara's opponent changed like twice already. First it was Falcao who interested me at UFC 123 except for that final round. Then it was Rafael Natal, and now Chris Weidmen. I'm going out on a limb and expecting Sakara to win this fight, and depending on whether Jorge Rivera loses or not, getting that fight finally.

Brian Bowles vs. Damacio Page is pointless to me. Bowles already clearly beat Page and doesn't need to fight him again to make a statement in that division. I'm surprised Kid Yamamoto's first fight in the UFC wasn't against Bowles.

Good Prelim card too. I like Paul Harris and he'll be fighting Dave Branch. Cantwell/Dibiate interests me as well as Eric Koch and Cub Swanson. Joe Daddy is there too. Dana likes him so I'm sorta positive he kinda gave the nod to Joe Silva to give him an easier fight here.

Paul Harris, lol I can tell you still go to Sherdog Dademo.

I'm pretty surprised Stevenson is undercarding, since the UFC has always been high on him.

Shane Roller is facing a giant LW in Tavares, first to show off the reason why WEC LWs didn't make it to UFC in the first place, then Bocek can do the same with Bendo.

Sakara and Bowles get their Barry Horrowitz's to look good against so they can look like contenders. Wonder if Sakara will actually make it to the fight this time.

CB pulled off a Peruvian Necktie once so he has a fan in me just off that.

Dirty Diego Sanchez and Kampmann for battle over who is still relevant in MW. Got Diego in this one.

Lol, I say I'll never go there again but it never leaves my bookmarks.

I agree on the Sakara/Bowles statement you made. I think these fights will make them look like contenders or make it seem like it.

Brian Bowles defeats Damacio Page via guillotine. Page comes out guns blazing and trying to throw some hard hits, very few connect. Bowles didn't see it coming, but he does a great job keeping his compusure and finishing it with a guillotine.

Weidmen/Sakara is up and I'm expecting Weidmen to dominate on the ground. This dude is a huge MW prospect and he defeated Phil Davis and Ryan Bader in a college wrestling tournament or something, so that alone is impressive. Weidmen finally grabs a TD in the second. He passes to side control and opens up Sakara's cut even more, and then they get back to their feet and Sakara wipes his blood on the ref's shirt haha. Weidmen still dominates on the feet. Third Round Weidmen gets the TD and goes for an arm-triangle attempt but fails to get it. Weidmen wins by UD.

So CB/Munoz starts, I switch the channel for a second, come back, and Munoz is sprinting around the cage. I saw the knockout. Some say it was premature, I don't think so, CB looked daze. Glad Munoz won, reppin' Black House.

Sanchez/Kampmann. In the beginning of the fight Diego gets cut and dropped. Kampmann is easily stuffing his TD's and obviously learned from the Shields fight. He cut Diego bad and he outpointed him a lot. Diego looks kinda fat for some reason. Round 2 is Kampmann stuffing Diego's TD's until Diego and him just unloaded on eachother and Kampmann seemed to get a little rocked. Both men are bloody. The end of the round was an awesome back and forth battle there. The Third round, both men exchange a lot, and Deigo finally gets a TD, but Kampmann gets back to his feet. That was a great fucking round though. Diego is completely bloodied up, Kampmann hurts his hand, but both men exchange a lot and it's a slugfest. Kentucky gets a treat main event. Diego wins 29-28, close decision to judge, thought maybe a draw. I lose WS credits, but its no biggie. Great fucking fight though. Crowd boos sorta, but cheers when Diego goes on an epic rant. Hope Kampmann isn't cut, he's exciting and an awesome dude to watch.

FOTN: Diego vs. Kampman
KO OTN: Shane Roller
Sub of the Night: Brian Bowles
