Bisping again fails at the final hurdle, so frustrating to watch. He looked good, albeit tentative, in the first round until the last fifteen seconds when Belfort hit that head kick. In the second round Belfort hit that kick again and Bisping just didn't have an answer. Surprised that Bisping didn't even try for a takedown and that he basically held back the entire fight. Shame that again he drops back down the ladder.

Mannnnnnnn I was kinda pissed cause I was looking forward to this card but I didn't set my timer to record it so I missed the whole thing. I wanted to see the Belfort/Bisping fight. But to see that Bisping lost... well... I figured Belfort would win. Bisping just can't win the big fights. Whenever he has a big name to fight against... he loses.

That was a pretty good KO by Belfort, and it ruins any chance of Bisping getting his title shot now. Pretty decent show overall though, didn't think Bisping would lose though especially the way he did.

And just like that, the middleweight division is cleaned out.

Didn't see the event but heard about about Vitor trashing Chael and calling out Jones, think he's pretty delusional to be honest.

Well in his defense he did almost tap out Jones, coming closer than any other fighter to beating Jones.

Plus his hand speed could be the thing to beat Chael. But Vitor has subs so it isn't like he'd be a fish out of water on the ground when taken down.

I'm not seeing him being completely delusional.

There are a few others that deserve shots ahead of Belfort though, he had his shot and failed and he needs to win at least another big fight before he is considered.

Wonder what this means for Silva now, superfight time?

You say he almost tapped him out, I say he put him in an armbar, couldn't finish it and then got his ass beat to a finish. Nothing to warrant him calling out Jones, maybe he should have called out Anderson seeing as though he beat the #1 contender although I guess he'd prefer to get his ass beat by Jones again than being humiliated by Silva.

You are never delusional when you are trashing Chael. Sonnen has no business being in the title main event and that’s a fact. Props to Vitor for the vicious KO (shades of 06 Cro Cop) and hopefully he lands a big fight again soon.

Well tell me who else has even come close to catching Jones in an armbar? Who else has caught Jones in any kind of trouble? Who else has done anything to Jones that has had him in any kind of real retreat mode and having to battle back? Vitor couldn't finish it cause Jones refused to tap. Jones suffered some damage to the elbow which means... that armbar was legit locked in. It would be like how Mir had that kimura locked in on Big Nog but he didn't tap... broke his arm. So yeah... whats the problem in calling out Jones? He damaged Jones more than Machida, Rampage, and Evans combined. Those three were the number 1 contenders and Jones just ran right through them.

Maybe you just prefer that these guys don't call anybody out and just sit on their hands waiting for their next fight and not say anything.

I just don't see how any of that lends any credibility to him deserving another a title shot. I just rewatched the fight to make sure I was remembering it correctly and I still firmly believe that a 10 second armbar attempt doesn't warrant a rematch with Jones, especially when he got dominated for the rest of the fight. If we're throwing out rematches based off of what you put above then lets give Condit an immediate rematch for head kicking and rocking GSP and lets give Chael another rematch against Anderson

And still got dominated over the whole fight despite having an injured arm, hardly something to use to champion your case.

I have no problem with guys calling other people out but I suggest that if you want to call someone out then at least be fighting in that weight class..

How are you gonna trash Sonnen and kiss Belfort's ass in the same paragraph?

At least Chael gave a damn effort in his undeserved title fight, Belfort flailed his arms and did nothing aside get kicked in the face in both his title fights.

Don't get mad because your guy is basically K-Flo on steroids, always choking.

Okay... I can see that you are taking this to a whole nother level it wasn't meant to go to. This was your original post.

And just like that, the middleweight division is cleaned out.

Didn't see the event but heard about about Vitor trashing Chael and calling out Jones, think he's pretty delusional to be honest.

And I was simply making a case that Vitor has a right to make a call out over other guys. Vitor at least did something to Jones that the others didn't. So for that I'm saying why would it be wrong or delusional for him to call him out?

in NO WAY was I trying to say that Vitor deserves a title shot. That he deserves a rematch. I mean he only beat Bisping. It would be like someone losing a title match and trash talking and winding up in another title fight... oh yeah Chael is doing that.

But yeah... to get back to the original point before you took it to wherever you did... Vitor can make a case for a call out. But in NO WAY am I saying he deserves a rematch and nowhere did I even state he deserved a rematch. But he does have a case for making a call out.
