Jeez, Sanchez is lucky the bell rang.
He needs to throw more head kicks, Jake had his right hand pretty low at times in that Rd.

If you were left begging for two more rounds after Jake Ellenberger's thrilling three-round victory over Diego Sanchez, you weren't alone.
Following Wednesday's UFC on FUEL TV 1 event in Omaha, Neb., UFC president Dana White admitted he "blew it," and all future main events will feature five rounds.
"Already thought and done," White told MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com). "I'm actually pissed at myself about it, so yeah."
The UFC first implemented five-round non-title fights this past June.
"From this day forward, as we speak right here, right now today, every fight that is a main event that is not a title fight will be a five-round fight," White said following a UFC 131 pre-fight press conference.
However, when the UFC later signed a multi-year deal with the FOX family of networks, it turned out the new change only applied to pay-per-view and FOX-aired contests, leaving FX and FUEL TV with three-round main events.
No longer, said White.
"I can do 33 rounds on FUEL TV if I want to," White said. "FUEL TV can't get enough.

The event proved a surprise hit for the UFC, which earned mixed reviews for the recent and bigger UFC 143 and UFC on FOX 2 events. Stefan Struve, Stipe Miocic and Ivan Menjivar all earned stoppage wins on Wednesday's main card. Additionally, T.J. Dillashaw picked up a dominant decision victory, and Ronny Markes edged Aaron Simpson via split decision.
The event aired internationally on a variety of broadcast partners. If no TV station aired the event, fans from that country could watch a free stream on UFC.tv.
The UFC recently moved much of its live-event programming from Spike TV to FX and FUEL TV thanks to its seven-year deal with FOX. Although currently cable TV's lowest-rated cable station (among those big enough to garner ratings information), FUEL TV has increased from approximately 30 million homes to 36 million in the past few months due in large part to the new UFC programming, which has set ratings records for the sports-oriented station.
Spike TV's counter-programming efforts, which included a replay of The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale and past Diego Sanchez fights, averaged approximately 674,000 viewers on Wednesday.
Earlier today, MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com) reported that Wednesday's UFC on FUEL TV 1 event averaged 217,000 viewers, which set a UFC-FUEL TV record.
