What's insane is, they're really picking it up after this show. Between Apr-Aug they've got 11 shows. 5 PPVS and 6 Free Cards.

They might need to work on their schedule layout. Would have been better to spread the shows out a bit rather than having this big month long gap in between and then following it up with a couple of shows in a row.

This show is next weekend Saturday April, 14th this is the final card for this show. Finally the UFC is back after about a month of not running any shows at all, and they've got a pretty decent card, always love seeing Gustafsson fight and Thiago Silva is making his return to the UFC it was orignally Gustafsson vs. Lil Nog but Nog fucked his kneed up and Silva stepped up. This show will take place from Stockholm, Sweden which is also Gustafssons's hometown.

Sort of pumped for this show, first new UFC show since the beginning of March. Going to be a good one too.

Gonna watch this on the mobile app, woo woo woo.

Just had a glance at PG1 to see the fights and for a Fuel show, the main card is pretty damn good. Nunes/Siver has a ton of importance at the weight, Stann is a banger and will be looking to finish strong after getting whooped by Chael, DaMarques is mad underrated, Thiago is pretty meh but is a legit sub merchant, and T Silva os a wrecking machine like he showed against Vera....but Gustafsson is a great all-rounder, probably the best young fighter not a champion right now (Aldo and Bones).

Good stuff, Cork approved :y:

Just moved into a new apartment, and i don't have DirecTv so I don't have Fuel TV Anymore, so I've gotta stream the show now but whatever. Still looking forward to the show.

Also think Gustaffson will be inline for a title shot after Hendo if he wins here.

Here's a pretty funny article speaking on how long it's been since UFC has been on

Apr 12, 2012 - If you've felt that the UFC's recent break was longer than usual, you're onto something. In fact, the UFC's version of spring break has been somewhat historic.

The good news is that the promotion's longest vacation, if you will, between fights in almost five years comes to an end Saturday afternoon. That's when the Octagon returns to FUEL TV for UFC Sweden: Gustafsson vs. Silva.

After the jump, we provide some perspective on the uniqueness of the UFC's hiatus:

* By the time UFC Sweden happens on April 14, it will be 43 days since the last UFC event was held (UFC on FX 2 on March 2).

* That will mark the longest stretch of time without a UFC event since the 49-day break between UFC 73 on July 7, 2007, and UFC 74 on August 25, 2007.

* The last UFC pay-per-view was UFC 144 on Feb. 25, with UFC 145 scheduled for April 21. That 56-day stretch will be the longest between PPVs since the 77-day break between UFC 56 on Nov. 19, 2005, and UFC 57 on Feb. 4, 2006.

* The UFC has been active since their last long vacation. The promotion has held 104 events between UFC 74 and UFC Sweden, which is more than half the total number of events put on by the promotion in its almost 19-year history (200 in total since UFC 1 in 1993).

* During that stretch, the light heavyweight title has changed hands five times, while the heavyweight and lightweight titles have been passed around three times, respectively.

* Nine full seasons of The Ultimate Fighter have aired, with two more currently running (TUF LIVE and TUF: Brazil)

* Since UFC 74, the UFC has debuted in Canada, Ireland, Germany, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates. Saturday's event will mark its debut in Sweden.

* The IFL, EliteXC, Affliction, and BodogFight, to name a few, all came and went during this period.

* Speaking of the competition, Zuffa purchased rival Strikeforce in March 2011, right after merging the UFC and WEC in January.

I could also tell you about all the fighters that have come and gone, the fight cancellations, Barack Obama becoming the 44th president of the United States, the price of gas and milk ... but I think you get the point. It's been a while.

Welcome back, UFC.

I'm pretty psyched for this card and I'm supposed to be watching this with Ariel Helwani at a bar so this is going to be cool. I'm really excited to see Siver fight mainly because he caught my eye in a few fights. Obviously main event is where the star power is at. I like Guf here but this is too close to call. Guf has all the upside in the world but Silva is coming back with a huge vengeance. I hope I can hear crowd reactions when they both come out but I doubt it.

That's cool that you're watching it at the bar with him.

Here's the Press Conference for UFC On Fuel TV 2 For anybody who missed it.

Eh, why not.

Gustafsson via UD
Stann via KO R2
Thiago via Sub R1
Siver via SD (FOTN, obvs)
DMJ via UD
Pickett via KO R3

Solid test for Gus though, Thiago Silva is more than just a gatekeeper in the division he's very heavy handed and dangerous. We'll see if he's a legit prospect or just a pretender. Hard to call, Gus is awkward as fuck and could very easily seeing him walk into a highlight reel KO, but should 'cruise' to a rough UD.
