Anything but another Edgar rematch. I've got no doubt that is what will happen now though.

I'd like to see Korean Zombie get the next title shot

BUT

We all know how this works with Edgar by now.

Pretty terrible PPV all in all. Main card was mostly a snoozer and two Divisions saw the next Title Challenger lose and now because Aldo didn't finishEdgar we'll probably have to sit through Aldo-Edgar II :(

When Tyron Woodley is the higlight of your show, you know things were bad.

Aldo is absolute turd, how can you gas that easy by doing so little? Frankie got jacked again.....marked for the Bigfoot KO and that was it.

Well I saw this at Buffalos... first fight... ehhh. Fitch/Maia... zzzzzz. Overeem vs. Bigfoot... DUDE WHAT JUST HAPPENED! Overeem was winning that fight and then he just... did what he normally does and gassed and Bigfoot just finished him off brutally. Mannn I tell ya Buffalos woke up with that one. Everyone was up like oHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Kinda like that prelim fight where homie won in 36 seconds. That was brutal.

But man Bigfoot... he isn't gettin a title shot but he just boosted his rep up quite a bit with that win. Then came Shad vs. Lil Nog and that quieted everyone back down and of course... Shad lost and its like... really? Really? Really? Shad took a hit there but... it is what it is... then came the main event.

Aldo... those has to be some of the most vicious leg kicks. I was like mannnn Edgar gonna lose a leg but Edgar didn't even lost a bounce in his step. That dude is freakin tough. I was actually concerned thinking Edgar might get the win but was real glad that Aldo got the win but there is such a strong chance for Aldo/Edgar II its like... crap.

But overall... this card... I was hype for but it was kinda meh. But i am so glad I didn't bet on these fights cause I woulda lost out big on Overeem and Shad. I at least picked right with Aldo.

Just watching the post fight press conference, Dana said Anthony Pettis just got ahold of him and said he wants to drop to 145 and fight Aldo, thoughts on this?

I guess that would be because if he were to stay at lightweight he'd still have to wait for a title shot so it'd make more sense to move down. Pettis/Aldo would be good. Real good. But I was still hoping to see Pettis/Henderson.

This was a frustrating card to watch and I am just glad that Aldo closed it with a win otherwise it would have been a pretty shit PPV.

Maia gave Fitch a dose of his own medicine by laying on him for three rounds, a nothing fight.

Overeem had me shaking my head. He was toying with him for two rounds rather than finishing Bigfoot. It is great being cocky but when you are dominating a guy like he was for the first two rounds you finish the guy rather than playing with him. Was so pissed off when Bigfoot finished him. Was funny though seeing Herb Dean struggling to keep Bigfoot off Overeem.

Evans is another case of a top fighter taking it easy. He was just cruising throughout that entire fight rather than pushing in for the kill. He must have known that he was losing that fight and needed a big last round yet he didn't up the ante. Massive loss for him. Before the fight I was talking about him going at Jones or Silva, that is on the backburner now.

Aldo was awesome in the first three rounds but just dropped off for the last two. He didn't even look that gassed he just didn't push as much as he did early on. Someone please tell me why he didn't throw any leg kicks in the 4th or 5th round. His leg kicks early were lethal and yet he just stopped using them even though they were effective. Edgar again showed why I don't like the guy by saying after the fight that "he knew he won it but whatever". There is no way at all he won that fight no matter how hard Joe was trying to convince the viewers at home he did.

Two massive contenders get dropped because they took it too easy against their opponents and then the champion takes it easy after winning the first three rounds. Bit disappointed overall with the PPV as it should have been so much better.

Very disappointed in the PPV, but hey at least it was unpredictable. Two possible super fights are finished and you can't even see Big Foot or Lil Nog looked that great. It was more of Rashad and Overeem showing little explosiveness with no sense of urgency.
