Yeah December is going to be the big pay off for such shitty cards all year long, this and the Fox show are the two best shows of the year and are sure to deliver.

This card is shaping up to be great. Given how this year has gone for the UFC though, I fully expect every fight on this card to be changed.

Card looks awesome so far, hopefully it remains the same in two months time.

Looking forward to JDS and Velaquez again and hopefully this time both are going into it fully healthy and don't complain that they were injured heading into the fight. Tough to pick against JDS as he hasn't done anything wrong in any of his fights so far.

Sonnen vs. Griffin is a massive mismatch but I guess UFC are easing him in to his new division. Can't see it lasting more than one round.

Weidman vs. Boestch will be good to help determine the rankings in the MW division, even if Weidman wins I still think that Bisping should be next in line or better yet have them face off to earn the title shot.

Maynard vs. Lauzon should be an exciting fast pace fight. Maynard always comes out fast and Lauzon is a finishing specialist so it should produce something good.

Thought I'd make mention of this, In an Interview tonight Dana White confirmed that the winner of Dos Santos/Velasquez is going to fight Overeem in April-May.

Is Overeem actually going to be able to pass the drug testing? If so that should be a great fight whoever faces Overeem, but hopefully it is JDS as I think they match up better.

Few rumors floating around that Bonnar won't be able to take the Griffin fight on this card and that Little Nog is set to make his return and fight Forrest instead.

So many guys floating around the LHW division that should just retire; Forrest, Bonnar, Lil Nog, Rampage, Shogun, Hendo once he gets wrecked by Machida/Jones.

Bonnar was on a decent run before Silva, no shame in losing to him. Hendo is still performing at a decent level too, the rest I'd probably agree with.

Bonnar was winning but it was over nobodies and he's been seemingly semi retired for a while. Hendo can still go but he's getting to that point where age will be too big of a factor and honestly I dont see what so many other people see in him being able to beat Jones. I'm a Hendo fan but a wrestler who has forgotten his wrestling in favour of swinging like a madman in the hopes that a H bomb lands will just get picked apart by Jones reach.

Phil Davis has been announced as Griffin's new opponent. Would rather Lil Nog honestly.

Here's the updated card

Junior Dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez
Phil Davis vs. Forrest Griffin
Tim Boetsch vs. Chris Weidman
Joe Lauzon vs. Gray Maynard
Alan Belcher vs. Yushin Okami
Phil De Fries vs. Matt Mitrione
Chris Leben vs. Karlos Vemola

Still a pretty awesome line up even without Sonnen on the card.
