I hope Condy's happy that he sat out on his ass for a year too scared to fight waiting for this opportunity only to get outclassed. He did better than GSPs last four opponents but was still thoroughly beaten in just about every area. He was there to fight bu he never really had an answer for GSP.

Now bring on GSP v Silva!

That's basically my thoughts on it as well, i do respect Condit more now after seeing what he was able to do against GSP.

Now if GSP/Silva doesn't happen, should Hendricks get a shot at the title? He looked damn impressive against a tough as hell Kampamnn.

Not a lot of people chatting which is pretty shocking. People comment a lot for some really bad PPV's but not a possible fight of the year with Condit vs GSP. GSP dominated no doubt about it and looked as fresh as ever. You have to give Condit credit, that head kick really had people wondering if it was over. Carlos took a beating but he silenced some haters tonight for hanging in with a legend. Still bitter as a fan but helluva fight.

Also Embrace, Condit is probably happy once he sees his paycheck and re watching that head kick which put GSP on his ass.

Probably true...but now he's at the back of the line and wont get another title shot for a long time, spend your money wisely Condit.

So, so pissed off that Kampmann got iced like that.

Also marked for GSP nearly pulling a Matt Serra shock job.

Really good PPV again.

Mainevent was really good, Condit showed that he belonged in there but was too hesitant at times. He learnt from Jake Shields that if you hit and cut GSP he freaks out a bit, he definitely isn't comfortable when cut and when his vision is impaired. Not saying that anyone really is but it seems to bother him more since he is rarely touched. That headkick was great but he didn't follow up on it enough. I thought that Condit did really well on the ground, yes he was taken down frequently but when he was down GSP didn't do much damage other than that awesome elbow at the end of the first. Condit is one of the best at attacking whilst on his back and he showed that today. I thought that GSP won everything but the 3rd round but it was pretty close throughout. Condit kept pulling out of attacks and didn't run with enough combinations, he would throw jab, punch then fail to go with the kick.

Even after that I can't see GSP beating Silva at all. Was good seeing the mini view of Silva as the fight was happening to see his reactions.

That KO punch from Hendricks was brutal, it looked like Kampmann was hooked to one of those movies wires and was yanked across the cage. Kampmann did what he always does though, start fights slow and that cost him this time. Hopefully we do get to see Hendricks vs. GSP early next year. Hendricks has great KO power and GSP hates being hit so it will be a nice battle, plus Hendricks is a class wrestler as well.

Ivan Menjivar's submission was awesome how he flipped out face first to lock it in.

Refs were terrible tonight. First of all allowing half a dozen hits to the back of the head was shocking, should have warned him after one and then stepped in if he continued. Plus that old guy that kept telling them to work as soon as the fighters touched the cage was a pain.

In my wildest dreams, could Diaz vs Condit II happen again? It seems like a possibility. The division is pretty weak right now, Kampmann is great but his future is shaky after that knockout blow. Rory McDonald could easily step up with a win and then will probably see him fight Condit.

It amazes me how GSP fucks up his opponents faces up so bad, but doesn't finish them. And I have to admit that head kick had me nervous for a minute.

All of you should be rooting for Kampmann tonight, Hendricks said if he wins he's going to sit out and wait for his shot at GSP, while Kampmann said "fuck that shit, I wanna fight again A.S.A.P".
I watched that interview, with Ariel Helwani I think it was? If I remember rightly, he did say he would sit out and wait for GSP or he wants to fight for an interim title in the meantime. With the streak he's on, he'd be crazy to sit it out. Glad he won though.

Yeah, they just aren't going to make another interim title after Condit sat on his for a year, so I don't know why he wouldn't take another fight because he's only going to cost himself tons of money.

Diaz/Hendricks would make a lot of sense while GSP fights Anderson.

I think the division now is in a really awkward position. Lets say GSP does face Anderson next, what is there left for Hendricks who is the #1 contender now.

Could fight Diaz, but he lost to Condit so doesn't really deserve a #1 Contenders fight.
Could fight Rory, but he won't fight GSP so is somewhat a pointless (wrong choice of word) fight
Could fight Condit but he needs 3 or 4 wins before being considered again I think.

You could do Diaz/Rory though given he's GSP's little protege and the obvious beef between Diaz and GSP.
