You know, Chael came REALLY close to beating Silva the first time they fought. Had Anderson not got that submission in at the VERY END of the fight, he would have lost that belt.

But honestly, Chael needs to watch his mouth sometimes. He's fun and entertaining yes, but he's just begging to get jumped with the way he keeps talking about the Brazilian fighters. Like how he said the Nogieura brothers thought a bus was a horse and they were trying to feed it carrots and bring it home and what not lol.

Chad Mendes vs Cody McKenzie has been added to this card.

All I know about these guys is that Chad had a good win streak going before losing to Aldo and Cody is the dude from TUF with the guillotine. Maybe it's my lack of knowledge about both guys, but this sounds like quite a gulf in competition and expect Chad to take this routinely?

Pretty much, Mendes is way to skilled of an opponent for McKenzie to really threaten here. Sucks how Mendes went from the main event championship match, to the prelims : If he were on any other card he'd be apart of the Main Card.

This is McKenzie's Featherweight debut, and i know he just recently starting training with the Diaz Brothers.

The obvious choice was made and Renan Barão has been chosen to challenge Faber for the Interim championship belt. And Chad Mendes has been added to this card as well for the prelims. Hopefully nothing else will change with this card as it's still pretty awesome looking.​

It really is, the prelims are fairly stacked with Melvin, Mendes, McKenzie and Philippou.

And the main card just tops any card they've done in a while. I mean this has the potential to be the GOAT.
