UFC 145: Jones vs. Evans

Countdown to UFC 145 debuts tonight, and the Final Episode of UFC Prime time airs this Friday night after The Ultimate Fighter. I'll get both uploaded on here for anybody interested in watching them.

I have to side with Frank Shamrock in his thoughts on the fight. Jon is gonna be in trouble but he'll find a way to overcome and take a win. Making him better than before which is what he'll have to be for when he faces off against Hendo next.

I just see this going the exact same way as the Machida fight tbh, everyone thought it'd be Jones' biggest test but Machida was apprehensive for a couple of rounds before getting choked out.

Jones is a near complete fighter, only thing he doesnt really have is one punch KO power. Rashad is a one trick pony.

Just don't see this being a great fight at all, or even a close one. Rashad will try a bunch of takedowns, get them all stuffed then fight like Condit for 4 rounds. As long as Jones doesnt fight stupid like in the Rampage fight hes got this sewn up (stop trying that fucking crane kick like Machida and Anderson did). Shad isnt as good as people give credit for, hes been in a ton of close fights with mediocre fighters.

I'm going with Jones in the fight, and i was going to put some money on the fight because the odds are such in favor for Jones but I'm just a little nervous. I've seen Rashad fight, and i know how he carves out wins so I decided against placing any legit money on that fight but I'll be pulling for Jones though.

The undercard looks decent. Rory Macdonald FTW. All I gotta say main event is good though.
