The UFC and Spike TV's latest "UFC Prelims" special rebounded slightly from its previous figure and drew 1.2 million viewers and an overall 0.9 household rating.

The latest one-hour special coincided with this past weekend's UFC 139 event.

While the figure was relatively low in the series' history, the special did win its timeslot among male basic cable viewers in the ages 18-34 demo and was second among males 18-49.

Spike TV officials today emailed the ratings information to MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com).

UFC 139 took place this past Saturday, Nov. 19, at HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif. The Spike TV special followed a Facebook preliminary-card stream and preceded the night's pay-per-view main card. Ryan Bader and Michael McDonald both picked up first-round stoppage victories during the Spike TV broadcast.

Of the 25 "UFC Prelims" specials Spike TV has aired to date, UFC 139's ranks as just the 20th best.
The all-time worst viewership was set in October at UFC 136, which drew just one million viewers. The best came earlier this year at UFC 126, which drew two million viewers.
