I liked this season at the beginning, but it just lost me. This is the first season that I just haven't been able to get into since I started watching the show. I'll probably end up watching the finale though.
Yea this season isn't that special. TUF10 really set the bar too high for following seasons. This season is almost on TUF9 US vs. UK level. Hopefully the Tito/Franklin switch can spice something up.
I've finally watched all the episodes. I had them all on DVR and haven't watched a single one. The beginning of the season made it look like it was going to be great, but it's just not as good as last seasons. The guy with the 'Ffor is my favorite of winning.
Those guys that just fought were gassed out BAD. Sloppy punches, laying on each other. They were pretty much holding each other up when they were standing.
Seriously, the preview after the first two episodes made this season look awesome, but lately nothing ever happens in the house and all the fights go to a 3rd round which really takes time during the one hour show.
Woah woah woah TUF10 set the bar too high? Other than Rashad/Rampage, what did the show have? Kimbo was on the ground with a fat dude on top for 10 minutes and that's it.There wasn't any of the house antics.
This season was awesome if you ask me. The going ons in the house kept me excited, and the fight were not the most spectacular but they were solid matches and well matched and that's why there isn't that many quick victories.
My favourite recent season (taking into account from season 6 onwards) is still season 8 though.
Sucks that Nick is out, he would have atleast gotten to the final if not win the entire show. Also sucks for Hammortree putting it all on the line in front of Dana then ending up losing, atleast he proved he wanted it.
If anyone wants to know the whole Tito Situation goes down next week, saw the preview.
Decent episode I guess. Court McGee reminds me a little of Joe Lauzon. If the fighters expected do their job (Brad, Yager, Noke) I think we'll be in for a McGee/Yager, Noke/Brad semis.
I still watch every week. I don't really find this season any different than the previous ones. I still think TUF10 was one of the best, the hype around it just made it more exciting let alone Kimbo and Marcus Jones. This season really hasn't gotten me yet and it's almost over. Only one I really tune in for is Yager, the guy who looks like Ricky Ortiz. The dude is a total jag but I want him to win so bad, he has the talent to win too.
I think the main reason is that I don't believe the tension between Ortiz and Liddell. It really wasn't established before this season of TUF. I know they fought before but they really haven't feuded. I had to learn through the show that Tito accused Chuck of being an alcoholic? WTF. I was lost lol.
^^^ It was before the show when Tito and Jenna both went public saying Liddell was fighting his inner demons and as a friend, hope he has finally turned the corner.
And even when they were fighting, there was tension between each other.
I always tend to slowly lose interest as the season goes by. TUF 10 can't be topped, the hate Rampage and Rashad had for each other and the Kimbo Slice saga, there was so much in that season. And season 9 was some BULLSHIT! Oh my god, it was boring!
