1) It could work and may not work IMO. It depends on how it is executed, but the good probably would outweigh the bad, as you could play on the fact that they have experience in this area and know what to do. My guess is Edge TBH .

2) If it is a Midcard- Upper Midcard or lower, it would be best to build before getting the briefcase and while having the briefcase for a little while. But, if it is an Upper Midcarder or Main Eventer, a short reign would be cool, as it would create a bit of shock value. Look at Edge's reign in 2007 after beating Kennedy, it went for 4 days TV time and one day IRL.

1) I wouldn't like it. MITB is all about elevating new guys who wouldn't normally get large storylines to push themselves to the title. Having a guy win it again probably means that he is already established as a main eventer and doesn't need it.

2) I don't mind, as long as it's shocking tbh.

The thing about the breif case is you can give it to a lower mid carder, have him feud with high mid carder's over it, and easily, and sucessfully push him to the main event after investing him in at least one long feud over the case. Then, unexpectedly cash it in.

If its a main eventer winning it twice, then give it to someone else or something. Give it to the main eventer later. If he's a face, it gives off an unexpected heel run, if its a heel, then more heat to him.

You may think of the idea as a negative, but playing hot potato with the case would be interesting. Have the original owner lose it to someone, have the next guy lose it to another, then have the original owner pick it up once more, and cash in on the same show. ***** imo.

A lower mdicarder devalues the match, imo. It should be used on someone on the verge of the main event, but not quite there.

^ Exactly, Edge/RVD/Kennedy were all nearing the Main Event when they won the briefcases and winning them got them warmed up nicely before fully moving into the Main Event when using the briefcases (Kennedy would have but he got hurt and Punk wasn't really in the same place as them).

I would give it to an upper midcarder guy who just isn't quite in the main event. Guys like MVP imo.

Giving it to a Main Eventer defeats the object of MITB. Giving it to a Lover Carder does the same. Mid-Card or Upper Card fits just write.

Evil Austin, you seem so concerned about the Yearbook. Why didn't you do anything about it? Same with the awards.

If you really want something done, DO IT. All you do is ask and ask.


And lol, the Yearbook is not of the question, but if everybody keeps asking instead of doing, it will remain as it has until now, dead. As for the awards, well, nobody had even agreed to them or even mentioned them 'til you did it in that last post

Since this section has been so dead the last month or so, I propose "highlighting" newly posted shows. Whatever bookers that are active right now, try to get a schedule organized. When it is your turn on the schedule it will be your thread's day. You can post it and People can read it and leave reviews or just ask you questions on what is going on or why you are going in a certain direction. Now this can't work when we have a bunch of people active but as right now this could be something that can be to stir up some excitement maybe.
