What do you guys think about incredibly long backstories for a BTB?

Well... It's turning into a trend in the section and I think doing some backstories is good for your BTB's. I tried to write one for my new BTB and some BTB'ers whom I showed it liked it.

I didn't really think about mentioning anything but this Lounge area is pretty much dead. There are two and possibly three threads here that actually get active. - Chat room, partner request thread & Year Book. But in the long run this is the only active thread. And there is no need for a whole section really.

I think the Chat room should just be put in the normal BTB posting area and this whole Lounge area be put in the bin.

I disagree, the reason it's dead is because there isn't the freedom to just make your own thread like there used to be. You need permission to do stuff and the moderator is never here, although that doesn't really make a difference from the permission standpoint as he's still online consistently.. I think.

There isn't the freedom that is needed to keep this area of the section alive. Basically we're really restricted to post in the sticky threads.

Well personally I think we should get a new mod, a mod should be active in his section. And most importantly post in his section which means if you are a leader of an active BTB Community you should probably think of having one yourself.

imo/ but I know he is busy but at least come on here and set rules and boundaries and mod this place.

Because other then that someone should inform an admin to get a new mod for the section. Oh and if we do that, I say we should make votes and or nominations like we did last time with Levy leaving and we voted for CMS and XBA in the first place.

Edit - I informed Chuck about the situation. Not that the BTB section hasn't been able to handle itself without a mod up until now I mean we aren't in total chaos, but it would be better if we had some sort of mod or decision maker.

It would be a nice idea for the first time in two months since CMS was demoted as Mod to have someone be a leader here and lay down the law when needed.

Well instead of going straight to the Admin how about you dicuss it with the mod of the section first?

Listen, when it comes to BTB, I did BTB for 2 1/2 years, I know what I am doing, sure I haven't been active in the BTB section as in running an actual BTB, it does get tiring. I am here for one reason and one reason only and that's to MOD this section. MODding this section doesn't mean I HAVE to run a BTB. Whenever someone has something they need or need help, I help them, and that's where you come in. If you have a problem you should have come to me because now that you went behind my back, it makes you seem like you are up to no good.

Now, sure, I know I am not too active in the BTB section. It doesn't take much to Mod this section, I think alot of members can agree on that, I don't appreciate being harassed by the likes of you.

And just WTF does that mean? No disrespect to CMS, he was a great Mod, but where do you get off saying something like that? If you see something wrong in the BTB section why don't you point it out to me so I can take care of it huh? It's not like I am on here 24/7 waiting for someone to slip up. You wouldn't PM me or contact me, no, you would rather go straight to Admin and try to have me Demodded. I would say you want a Mod spot and you are looking for any pathetic excuse to get one, but I don't know you well enough to say something like that. So, if you or anyone else has a problem with the way things are going, just try PM'ing me and we can talk things out.

This Lounge is a complete waste of space. If you want to discuss something about booking, then you can do it in here. I don't see why new threads need to be made. The only threads that people make are ask threads anyway,
