Wrestlemania is a 6 hour long card with (basing off last years card) will be an 8 match main card and a 3 match pre show (9 Match card if you count Rock/Rowan). This is where we come to a HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE problem and that is the Part Timer problem. Now it was never so much an issue for Wrestlemania before but with the brand split its time to cut ties with people like Brock Lesnar and Goldberg, there are multiple people who will be getting Pre Show treatment if any match at all because they are being knocked off the card for Brock, Goldberg, Trips and Undertaker. So without further ado here is the current Wrestlemania card.

Undertaker Vs Roman Reigns/Baron Corbin (All current possibilities after Cena and Braun are not facing him anymore)

Now here is where we run into one huge issue, there is an 8 match card. After all the above matches there is another 3 title matches that could take place and that is disregarding other plans.

Sasha Banks "Big Match" teased by Meltzer a few months ago, early guesses were Paige VanZant however WWE teased a Stephanie McMahon Vs Sasha Banks feud on Raw last week and even uploaded a video on YT questioning is they would face. Recently the current plan however has been Sasha/Charlotte/Bayley/Nia at Mania so who knows.
So its a pick one situation, the card is just overstuffed. Part Timers are taking up 3 matches that could be used in much better situations, Undertaker is time limited lets be honest. 34 is likely his last show so that is that issue taken care of, Brock Lesnar's contract is up in 2018 which could mean early 2018 or Mania 2018 but I'm leaning towards Mania 2018 because he resigned at Mania 31. Goldberg's deal is for 3 matches (SS, Rumble and Mania) but its pretty blatant from how much he's enjoying the return that he will resign with WWE and its possible that Brock does too. Triple H is usually back for Mania but its possible that this might be his last but who knows. Anyway my point is these part timers are taking up the majority of the Mania card and it shows when you look at the amount of matches bookmarked for the show.
One of the biggest things that upsets me about this years Wrestlemania is Big Show fucking off for a year and coming back and taking a spot on the Mania card to face fucking Shaq who isn't even a wrestler.
Realistically lets look at it this way, the Womens matches are unlikely to be cut since the Smackdown Womens TItle match has Nikki Bella in it and it looks good for WWE to have 3 Womens MAtches (Possibly 4).
Which means that the US Title will most likely not be defended and out of the tag team title matches it is most likely to be the Smackdown Tag Titles to get cut as Raw > Smackdown in their eyes despite the fact that American Alpha is one of the best teams WWE has ever had and if they faced The Revival for even 10 minutes they would have one of the best Mania openers ever in their hands.
So noting that lets look at the card at that point and keeping in mind its entirely possible that WWE add length to the show and make it a three hour pre show or they could use the pre show more effectively since they could fit way more than 3 matches onto the 2 hour pre show.

There is your Wrestlemania card folks and it looks pretty crap. There is absolutely no excuse for how bad this card looks, it all comes down to their focus on part timers instead of making new stars. Its entirely possible that Cena will beat Styles and go on to face someone else for the WWE title making Styles lose his place of on the card, Universal Title could be a Roman Reigns match which almost instantly locks it in as bad especially when Roman Vs Braun is a rumour right now. The I-C Title could be Ambrose Vs Miz or the Ladder Match. Raw Womens TItle could've had a slow burn Sasha Vs Bayley over the Womens Title and have them steal the show but they would rather force Nia Jax in.
In terms of actual quality matches on this show there wont be much. Shaq Vs Big Show will suck, Goldberg Vs Brock will suck, Undertaker entirely depends on his opponent, Braun Vs Roman would be god awful, the Womens Fatal four way would pale in comparison to the triple threat last year mainly due to Nia Jax being forced in, Triple H Vs Seth Rollins could be a classic like Bryan Vs Triple H but could end up being a Roman Reigns Vs Triple H. The Pre Show matches wont be anything special with time constraints and the limitations of not being on the real card. This just isn't going well at all.
