Hart Foundation, Money Inc., Mega Powers, Mega Bucks, Natural Disasters, Twin Towers, D-Generation X, 2 Man Power Trip, Rock & Sock Connection, New Age Outlaws, & APA. All of them were "random pairings", just because someone started as a singles competitor and later goes on to tag means next to nothing, almost every team I mentioned was even champions.

Weaken the mid-card? the overcrowded part of the card where people were getting lost in the shuffle?

My friends who have refused to watch wrestling since '02 watch NXT, and only started when they went to Full Sail. Says alot when extremely casual fans are willing to watch it.

If you dont count the Vickie/AJ storyline, which until Tamina was introduced wasnt a Diva's feud, their weekly air time was way down.

Where did I say a singles wrestler can't develop into a tag team? I didn't I said it looked like two singles guys thrown together and it does. All the teams you mentioned had storylines that developed them into tag teams they made sense with one another. So they weren't random pairings they were pairings based on a background something all these teams save for two or three lack.

Mid card isn't weakened because of this? How many times have you seen the US Title defended against someone that hadn't been part of a tag team in the past two months prior to the match?

Divas Eve's been involved in storylines for a solid year and the match length has been slowly on the rise not on the downturn. Read a post instead of skimming over it.

they've added a bunch of singles guys together to make the others. How does this help the tag team division? All it does is pull from the midcard and weaken it.

What you said about singles becoming tags. And based on what you just said, Team Hell No, CoBro, & Rhodes Scholars, are not random pairings, then you always have teams like The Uso's, Ascention, Prime Time Players, & The Colons, who would be a "traditional" team combination, making up over half of the division, And The Hart Foundation didnt have a story leading into their formation, they were 3 guys who happened to have Hart in their last name, Natural Disaster formed when Tugboat turned heel, there was no story behind it.

So now you want to complain about Tag wrestlers becoming a singles competitor? Do you even watch wrestling? do I need to make a list of former WWE Champions who were in a tag team, because I can list every Grand Slam winner to make it easier.

You claim the Divas are getting more air time, I seem to remember about 4-5 throw away diva matches every week, with promos making it over 30 minutes per week, now I am lucky to see 2 matches a week taking up 15 minutes of screen time. But yeah its on the rise!

I see progress, I see over 2 dozen guys who were lost in the shuffle finding themselves on screen, I see room for new talent to come in, and a spot for them on the mid-card, or Tag divisions, I see a developmental territory that actually gives their superstars a chance to work within the WWE Universe, but I must just be imagining things.

I think that WWE are finally starting to realise that they need new stars and they need an actual card beneath the mainevent. Mainevents alone don't sell PPVs and get ratings, you need the entire show to be good from top to bottom. They are starting with the tag team division and have actually put effort in and made it interesting by bringing up teams and creating these new interesting teams which actually make sense. The midcard titles still need plenty of work, they have good champions at the moment but they need to create actual divisions. Don't just have one guy feud with the champion and that is it. Get three or four other guys chasing the titles as well.
