Toss up between Rhodes/Cesaro.

Ended up with Rhodes in the end who I feel could have and should have became World Heavyweight Champion.

Will go with Del Rio for the fact that I don't think he has really got his due for what he has done in ring wise this year. Has been really good.

Easily Del Rio like PHX & Cork said. Obviously him being a modern day HHH doesn't help him but he's been brilliant this year and hardly done a thing wrong in ring and character wise.

Who the fuck are these guys underrated to? I went with Kofi because he's about the only one on here that has either won a world title or people whine that he hasn't won a world title yet. Cesaro? Really? The dude is rated higher than Jesus in most fans' books, especially on here.

My vote for Cody Rhodes is but a non-violent protest of the lack of Mark Henry on this list.

But who says that being underrated is just about how fans rate you? Isn't it also to do with how someone is pushed by the company and what they see in him, in the long term?

Cesaro for me.

Alberto Del Rio. I don't get the overwhelming resentment towards him. This year especially he really stepped it up in the ring. He also convinced me that a Del Rio face turn could actually work and that he can fly without Ricardo's help (I miss that pair though, what's Ricardo going to do now? I don't envy the creatives there). You also can't deny what a natural champion he looks like.

Btw I think it was me who nominated AJ Lee for this. Can't remember why, I just think she deserves more credit sometimes.

A face turn would be the worse thing they could do for him, since going heel again he has been on fire.

That would be underused, not underrated.

EDIT: this was to Keith's post on the first page, didn't see the second page when I replied.

Personally I think Del Rio was given a bad hand when Dolph cashed in on him. Normally I like the "mountain to climb" babyface appraoch but it backfired because Ziggler was someone we were genuinely (and still are) waiting to see rise to the top. When he won the crowd fucking popped. When Del Rio threatened Dolph's (heel) reign the fans organically shifted against him.

In other words, WWE tried to build Del Rio up as a champion we want to see... By putting him against a guy we want to see as champion even more. That's the way I see it though. Otherwise his face run was going well until then. He had an easy to hate rival in Swagger, Ricardo made the crowd respond more and Del Rio's ring style fit well.

I'm voting for Rollins. I get that he's still popular, but most people seem to put Reigns and Ambrose ahead of him. He's played just as big a part as the other two.

Won't be disappointed to see Del Rio win it though after seeing the results. He was a close second for me.
