Top TNA star James Storm announced on Impact that he will be taking some time off after his luck ran out at Lockdown, and he posted the following on Twitter.

Storm noted in the past on Twitter that he had some lingering injuries that he eventually needed to deal with, so it appears that he is being given that time off now, and the story line reason for his absence will be so that he can regroup and consider his TNA future.

In typical TNA fashion, they build a star, promote him, sell his merchandise, and then have him lose several important matches (in his own hometown) and tell him, "go home for the next few months, we got nothing for you."

But by the sounds of it he asked for the time off, so I don't see how you fault TNA for giving it to him. Also it might be a good way to build him back up for a main event push, althrough I would have liked to have seen him get at least another shot during this run.

Umm dude its called storyline...... you have a guy lose to build more fans because they feel sorry. Then he comes back prob around bound for glory time and finally wins the big one from roode ....

Scott, I hope to GAWD you're right! Still seems like a crappy way to build it...take time off.

no. id rather watch paint dry then watch that poor excuse of a company.

okay then don't comment on stuff you don't watch.

P.S. Didn't you say in the shoutbox you only watch TNA because of A DOUBLE.

yes I'll watch some parts of his on the occasion but I wouldn't watch the full show on a weekly basis or even once for a full 2 hours.

Yeah, this was obvious.

He has a few months away (TNA had ADD though so it'll end up being a week) then return for the big rematch at BFG.

I'm sure he said that after he'd had minor surgery a few weeks back, he'd be taking a bit of time off. But like Cork says, he's gone for however long, and he'll prob return in time for Slammiversary.

But maybe it isn't a storyline, you can't know for sure, someone else said in the ppv thread that he was actually injuried and because of that RVD was replacing him. Even if they take him out of the title picture still doesn't make sense taking him off TV altogether.

:lmao Hatred, massive fail.

Sounds like a decent storyline exit as it ties in nicely and also adds in with what I read a few days ago where it said he would take a hiatus from TV then pick his feud up with Roode later on at one of the big PPV's which I think was BFG but I could be wrong.
