To me the problem is that WWE is NOT the Harvey Weinstein of wrestling. VINCE MCMAHON can be called that. Big difference. And it was nothing but an unprovoked shot at the company.

If HHH responded you damn well know the AEW superfans would bitch on social media over it. "OMG WWE HAD TO TAKE A SHOT AT AEW AGAIN!!!!!!!"

He’s not wrong but that’s fans of both sides.
Majority wise, indeed he isn’t wrong for sure. I’m just glad that you’ve pointed out it’s both sides, since I probably would be told off for pointing that out lol. But yeah, it’s definitely a both sides thing. Lot of fans are fine with it and make excuses for when their side does it.

What I laugh at, are fans who get upset when two wrestlers use their past history in another company. Like what the fuck? Should they act as if they never crossed paths before? Like I was reminded of this when a comment I posted months and months ago was liked on tiktok recently. When MJF bought up the whole Joe shoving him when he was an extra in NXT. People in the comments were bitching about it and I’m like so confused. Like, shit man :lmao they don’t have to pretend shit didn’t happen lmao

Oh I know it's fans of both sides, but for a long while here it feels like from the fan perspective, Tony Khan is allowed to shit on WWE whenever he wants without blowback and then when WWE actually clapped back, like they did around Mania, oh my god why is WWE taking shots at a company thats 5 years old or whatever the fuck. You see it more from AEW fans than you do WWE fans.

It's like I said before, it's TNA 2012-2014 all over again with the superfans. They were heavily anti WWE and did everything to let you know it even though theyd get mad when WWE fans would show off the not even half full arenas TNA were trying to run lol.

The WWE superfans are just as bad especially when they tried to pretend ROH didnt exist years ago but got all excited when the top ROH guys would get signed by the company.

Fair. Just my experience, anytime I’ve point that out, the person I point it out too gets upset, much like with your experience AEW fans can’t take the heat back from WWE taking jabs, it happens, I do apologize for assuming

It's all good. Its just annoying seeing the owner of a company trying to assume that if you work for WWE its like working for Harvey Weinstein and the fanbase eats that shit up without blowback. Ted Turner would have never said that shit in public or on social media because he didnt give a fuck what Vince McMahon did behind the scenes, Eric Bischoff did.

I can understand that, and yeah the comment was definitely dumb and I wish he didn’t say it. Won’t hurt my enjoyment of the product like it seems to do for some people, because what they do on their wrestling show entertains me enough to where I don’t care enough to not wanna watch, ya know? Which I know isn’t what you’re saying by the way. But I fully understand not liking what he said 100%
