Matt Cardona is done with Impact Wrestling for now, according to Fightful.

The outlet reported Friday that Impact had wanted to formalize a deal with Cardona for guaranteed dates vs. the handshake deal he had been working on the past two years. That wasn't an made an option as Impact has "been a little more adamant in signing deals," the report stated.

They said there's no drama between the two sides and Cardona is open to return but only if it's a handshake deal.

Cardona hasn't wrestled for Impact since January when he lost a TV match to Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry.
