Oh god that fucking gladiator armour. America has the Gladiators game show right? How did no one at TNA realise he was part of that, as opposed to fighting lions in a Roman arena?

Yeah, American Gladiators, and becuase more think of the roman than the show one

In fairness maybe they just felt that a "Modern Gladiator" gimmick was better than an American Gladiator (which in essence is jusy a big athletic guy). And in that regard, I don't think they're necessarily wrong.
