They were Daniel Bryan booking with Aries, the fans forced their hand and I don't think it was all that bad of a moment. Would have been better if he got a Storm handshake afterwards followed by a Roode ambush on both guys. That's got two months worth of television at least, never mind the possibility that the feud would elevate each guy.

If it lead to Roode recapturing the championship in 2013, I probably would have been okay with this. I definitely know your way is better than Aries and Hardy that had no build or story.

Oh for sure, that's why I think he should be midcard at best. Love the guy, but yeah, he's a poor shout for World Champ material.

I would be okay with him beating Spud for the X Title and holding it hostage. Refusing to let challenges do high flying moves, keeping the matches grounded and not defending the title in Ultimate X.
