Here are my final thoughts now that the card is final

Bobby Roode vs Sting: I'm not really looking forward to this, though I really don't think it'll be bad, it just doesn't deserve to be the main event. I'm easily able to overlook this however because I know the big payoff match is happening at Lockdown with Storm and Roode. Kind of a filler match for the champ because they wanted that match to happen at Lockdown.

Kurt Angle vs Jeff Hardy: The feuds not bad so far, makes sense, though it's been done so much. Kurt and Hardy haven't had many matches with each other, but the few they have had have been pretty f'n amazing, which leaves me very optimistic about this one. I'm curious to how much time they allot it.

Bully Ray vs James Storm: Match of the Night potential here. They had a match a few weeks back on Impact that was absolutely phenomenal. I can't stress enough how much better Bully Ray is in the ring, the dude deserves so much for his work in the past year. I'm interested to see how this plays out with Storm facing Roode at Lockdown. I wonder how Bully Ray will hopefully stay in the title picture. I hope he stars a feud with Storm after Lockdown and wins the belt sometime around the end of the summer.

Tag Title Match: Crimson and Matt Morgan could not be more generic of a tag team. I hate them. Joe and Magnus could not be more awesome of a tag team. I love them.

Styles/Anderson vs Kazarian/Daniels: Should be a great match, though I'm not a fan of this feud at all. It's probably the only thing on Impact lately that doesn't make sense. Apparently Kazarian is okay working with Daniels now, after weeks of him not wanting to, and we never found out what Daniels had over Kaz. Glad Anderson is back, but once again, him being involved in this feud makes no tone bit of sense.

Aries/Ion: I expect this to be good, but very short also. Ion's not ready for the belt, and I'd rather him not get a championship belt a month after he almost ended a wrestler's career with a botch.

TV Title: I don't care about this at all, but at least they are defending this belt. Robbie E really sucks, and so does Rob Terry. They need to do something with this belt. RVD would be nice.

KO's Title: This feud between Gail and Madison has been pretty good so far, managed to get me back interested in the division. I'm hoping Madison manages to win and has another reign.

Rob Van Dam returning to win the belt would get a nice pop plus when is Sabin back?

Not sure exactly when but Sabin is suppossed to be out for quite a while still, could see someone like shelly take the challenge soon, or it would be good to see doug williams back or mark haskins

Show looks decent enough to me. Gail-Madison, Storm-Ray, Angle-Hardy, Roode-Sting, Tag Title Match, X Match are all passable or better. Plus I'm digging Storm and Aries right now both have been great in recent months.

This seems like an okay card, I just don't like the fact that each time they are building this event and the bill they can't help but mention how much more important their Lockdown match is in comparison to their Victory Road match. It would make sense if this was No Surrender or something but we aren't heading toward Bound For Glory. It's Lockdown. It's a gimmick show that really doesn't stand out all that much aside from just really good spots sometimes.

Anyone wondering "why, oh why TNA isn't more popular" which is something I don't see happening a lot, by the way, should look at this as a reason (one of many) that they aren't more popular. Technically, financially, and according to every single promo I have seen in the last two episodes of iMPACT! Wrestling, Victory Road means jack shit. So why would I pay money to see it? I know the answer to that as well as the 1,500 other potential buyers for this poorly advertised piece of poop, or lack thereof. It's sad.

Going over the card quickly:

Sting VS. Roode - is not a worthy main event for a ppv and it is dumb that the title is not on the line. The problem is that while Roode is a great talent, he is not yet at the level of a Kurt Angle or AJ Styles who are guys with the skills to drag a decent match out of Sting. I predict a very flat outting and would not be suprised if Sting won given his ego and the fact it is non-title.

Jeff Hardy VS. Kurt Angle - Don't care about this one either. Hardy should be made to work his way back up the roster, his raise since returning has been way too fast. I might be a passible bout epsically if it is kept short, but I just think these two have missed the boat. Sadly I expect Hardy to go over.

X Division Championship - Know very little about Zema, but Aries title reign has been a rare bright point of TNA in recent months, and it is good to see him in a fresh feud. Champion retains here, but I think this feud may go awhile, so expect a re-match.

Styles/Anderson VS. Daniels/Kaz - Should be an exciting match with the talent involved, hope they are given a good amount of time, but Anderson does stick out like a sore thumb, this would be better as a triple threat. Will compete with X Title for MOTN I expect.

World Tag Titles - Joes is fast becoming TNA's asnwer to The Big Show and needs a fresh challenge, Magnus is best suited in tag matches, at least he has made improvements, Morgan and Crimson have to be one of the boring teams in quite sometime. This match has midcard written all over it, no one really stands out in it. You can add Crimson's mini-push to the list of things TNA have screwed up.

Knockouts Title - I like Gail Kim, most matches she is in are good bouts, Rayne I can take or leave there are better challengers out there for Kim. Same old, same old, there will be given five minutes and there is likely to be a cheap finish.

Bully Ray VS. James Storm - Expect a solid match here. Ray have impressed me in his heel role, Storm is always very watchable. What should happen is that Ray goes over, with Storm being advanced at the same time, will wait and see on that one.

Open Challenge for Television Title - Depends who it is, but TNA really doesn't need another mid-card title and the title has yet to take off since being introduced.

Thought I should share my opinion on the card:

Roode vs. Sting
- I like this match, but it is cheesy. Really cheesy. So cheesy in fact that it really hurts my excitement for it. Why am I going to be excited about a match like this when neither Roode or Sting is going to come out of this looking better than before? Why are they fighting? Oh, because Sting keeps getting fooled by Roode? Isn't he like, the general manager? Yet he wants to fight him? It doesn't make sense, and Roode's heel tactics that more or less have nothing to do with Sting, made Sting have metamorphism into the crazy joker Sting? How mentally weak are we supposed to accept Steve Borden to be? Ridiculousness at it's finest.

Angle vs. Hardy
- I hate the feud, I don't like the pairing. In my opinion, these guys are way too different in the ring to be in a match together. They both ruin each other's shticks. I also don't like the promo work of Hardy, and will never like him as a character or as a person, and I have begun to dislike Angle more and more as a person as well. Personal issues and pass matches keep me from caring about this match, and I don't expect anything that good out of it.

Bully Ray vs. James Storm
- I am really disliking Storm right now. He is getting over-pushed and under-delivering. He's boring, he's cheesy, he's horrible at doing promo's, and his needs to whip his damn self into shape for fuck's sake! Bully Ray however, has been doing everything amazing lately. He can do a hardcore match, a big-guy power match, a brawl, he can sell, and his promo work is hilarious, is cheesy but not too cheesy, and I can take the man seriously. He's going to carry Storm in this match, and I can't wait to see what Ray does after this Sunday. Bully Ray is my current favorite TNA wrestler.

Styles/Anderson vs. Kaz/Daniels
- It's going to be a good match, even though Anderson looks to be in not-so-great shape. Styles is as good as he's been in the last two years. He's really taking care of himself, and Daniels and Kaz will always put on a good match. The storyline is cheesy, and no one has thought anything through apparently with this particular angle, especially with Anderson's involvement. It's just an excuse to get these guys to fight each other, and let's be quite honest: Is that necessarily a bad thing?

Robbie E vs. ???
- It's obvious this is going to be Rob Van Dam. Only thing that makes sense. Either Rob Van Dam or Garrett Bischoff. I am hoping to God it is not Garrett Bischoff, and if it is; I'm going to be pissed off. If it's RVD, I won't be that interested, but because it's Rob Van Dam, he is going to put some interest into the Television Championship division, and that is better for TNA.

Aries vs. Ion
- Aries is getting better, X-Division is sucking more and more ass. Not much to say to this except I really want Aries to lose the belt so he has a reason to move onto bigger and better things. The X-Division is a shell of it's former self. It sucks.

Rayne vs. Kim
- I love this feud, and I love these girls. Very fun to look at, but also just fantastic in the ring. These girls are legitimately entertaining as Hell in the ring. May not be better technicians than other girls but they are great at showing character in matches and I love that. Also a very comical storyline. I just wish they would have had another Knockouts match using Mickie, Love, Winter, ODB, Velvet, and other deserving knockouts that do not fail to impress me now-a-days.

World Title Match
- So ... so boring, and yet I love all the guys in this match. Just filler, and nothing more than just that.

Bully is easily my favorite TNA guy in a long time. Promos are great (though the calves stuff is getting kind of old now), ring work is surprisingly great too, dude is in the best shape of his life. He's 40 right now I believe, and is only improving, still has a few more entertaining years in him. Who would have thought he would have been so good five years ago?

I def see the TNA Title finding its way to Bully Ray at some stage during 2012. He is likely to win tonight which would put him in a strong poestion considering Strorm looks likely to face Roode for the title next month.

Aries wins in a great match.

Loved that MCMG video!
