Impact Spoilers for May 10 2012

Bobby Roode comes to the ring and brags about how he will soon be the longest reigning TNA World Champion in history. Rob Van Dam, then Mr. Anderson and then Jeff Hardy all come to the ring and attack Roode. There is also some infighting between Anderson and Hardy as well. Hulk Hogan announces a 4-Way Match tonight with the winner getting something special. If Anderson or Hardy win they take RVD's spot on Sunday. If Roode wins then he chooses his opponent on Sunday. If RVD wins then he gets to pick the stipulation for Sunday's match.


-Brooke Tessmacher defeated Velvet Sky. After the match, Tessmacher was attacked by Gail Kim.

-We are about to get Matt Morgan vs Crimson when Bully Ray attacked Morgan on his way to the ring. He attacks Morgan with a chair resulting in him having to be stretchered out. Crimson forces the referee to Count Morgan out which means he is still undefeated.

-Austin Aries defeated Zema Ion to retain the X Division Title.

-Kazarian and Daniels came to the ring and called out AJ to admit his secret. AJ eventually came out but didn't admit anything saying there wasn't anything on him. Daniels and Kazarian then revealed a series of photos one of which was AJ Styles and Dixie Carter kissing. The segment ended with AJ in shock.

-Devon beat Robbie E to retain the TV Title. After the match Robbie T attacked Devon.

-Joseph Park comes to the ring and talks about his search for his brother. He calls out Bully Ray who obliges. Park has a few words for Ray but ends up eating a punch ending the segment.

-Rob Van Dam defeated Bobby Roode, Mr. Anderson and Jeff Hardy in a Fatal 4-Way Match. Afterwards he pulled out a Ladder indicating a Ladder Match at Sacrifice. As RVD was posing on top of the ladder, flames shot out of the stage and Abyss returned. He spoke on the mic about how his little brother shouldn't play with fire or else he would get burned.

-Samoa Joe defeated Kazarian. Magnus and Daniels were with their respective partners.

So AJ styles is BANGING Dixie, I always knew something was up with those two. OH SHIT ABYSS'S RETURN.

So AJ is cheating on the wife he is constantly talking about on Impact for a second time?

How does anyone stay over in TNA?

The "It's Still Real To Me" guy despite his hillbilly build and accent, isn't quite the country bumpkin and is actually quite intelligent.

But thats neither here nor there, TNA audience members are mostly plants and people with no clue on what constitutes a good show. Funny how rednecks can afford to go Universal Studios.

I remember reading a couple of year ago TNA was giving out free tickets to impact that's why it was always sold out (or looked to be sold out), and had the same people in the crowd month after month

This is ridiculous. Then again it's TNA where Ridiculous Happens. That's the real slogan not Wrestling Matters.

TNA hardly does PPV outside of the Impact Zone so that's their own fault and it's proven they cannot sell outside of the Impact Zone anyways.

There is literally nothing that can save TNA's future.

Can't believe that AJ Styles is being used in an angle like this, he is the last guy that I would have used for this and I guess that was TNA's thinking behind it.

RVD winning the title shot doesn't surprise me, neither does the ladder match stipulation.

Does Abyss returning at the end mean that he will be put in the title match? I don't want to see that but I do want to see a more agressive Abyss back rather than a joke version.

Pretty disappointed with how the TV title has been used. I expected a lot more after it was announced that it would be defended each week. They really need a new champion and it better not be Robbie E or T.

I enjoyed the Fatal 4 Way until RVD's lazy Five Star Frog Splash. It just screamed that he should not have won.

Not sure why someone thought it was a good idea for Anderson to not go for the win and spear Hardy to the outside, whoever pieced that match together doesn't grasp the simple concept of "everyone is trying to get the win here."

Hardy would have broken up the pinfall... So he attacked him and they both ended up outside the ring. It was just bad timing for them as RVD was ready to hit that lazy Frog Splash. It was a rushed finish is all in my estimation.

Fair enough, but wouldn't have been better to have Anderson try mic check Hardy only to be reversed into a twist of fate and hardy goes for the Swanton and RVD pushed to the outside and takes his place at the top and do his lazy frog splash?

The whole thing looked rushed, but again. So do most if not every Impact mainevents.
