TNA Slammiversary XII PPV Discussion

Holy crap that must have been really satisfying for you then! Can just imagine you sitting back with a bag of Cheetos saying to yourself "yep... here comes Ryback to hit ShellShocked and put us all out of our misery... mmmhmm... here we OHHHH! HENRY! 1-2-WOOOOOO!"

Perfect random finish, lol. And I'm not convinced that changing the title would have affected the storyline much, since they don't like Aries either... Do you think EY will keep the belt until BFG? :robbie:

Yeah, it was pretty much like that hahaha. It's just that they built EY up so much and have him drop to anyone, really, with no build and (RKO!) from outta nowhere would suck for him. Granted they could keep the story going with Aries instead but that would just be switching one guy for another, not very cool. Wouldn't be the worse thing ever but would suck for EY. Not sure if EY is going to retain, I'm pretty sure Sanada's not winning the belt with Option C or anything, but I don't know... I don't feel like MVP was going to win it. I really don't know what's going to happen with the World title, maybe EY will keep it until BFG! Who knows?

Either way the match should be fun, EY has really been delivering with matches lately. Sometimes even the IZ utters a few peeps for him, he's definitely earned a little confidence from management and a nice lengthy reign here. :

True enough. One of my main problems is my laptop being out of commission. The idea of running back and forth from the living room to the room with my desktop PC in it to do some LD posts isn't overly appealing, but there seems to seldom be decent streams for the weekly shows.

Guess I could always turn the TV up loud, stay at the computer, and post based on what I hear / you guys say and pretend I'm watching the matches.

what's wrong with your laptop? I can help more than likely if it's virus based, even before thursday. And your desktop doesnt have a cable you could connect to your tv, and run both at the same time off that? FFS we could have WW TNA the next day and give you time to DL it if that's what it took, last week there were 0 LD posts. It's more about the team than the timing.

Finally a really good TNA PPV!

I waited for a show like this since BFG 2012. Slammiversary wasn't as great as that PPV, but imo it came close enough for me to grade Slammiversary a very good show.

Anyway, out of 9 matches we got, I find 6 to be fun/very good, 2 to be decent in VE/Bromans and Storm/Anderson, and only one bad match in Angelina/Gail.

MVP of the night is definitely Austin Aries. The greatest man that ever lived indeed.

Team 3D in HoF? I know it should Jarrett and Styles in the HoF, but lets face it. They aren't going in it until some time passes. AJ is with NJPW, and JJ has a thing with GFW. One of the best options was indeed Team 3D, they've brough a LOT to TNA since 2005. OH TESTIFY!

Crowd delivered too, loud 3500 fans all night. It was much needed after dreadful two months of TNA in Universal Studios.

Mark out moment of the night definitely goes to Kevin Von Erich attacking the Bromans. Crowd went ape shit NUTS for it. Fantastic moment.

Loved main event, match of the night for me. Can't praise Aries enough. Lashley and Young also delivered.
